In case you missed it last night on the Kelly File, Megyn Kelly played a clip from 2007 where Obama talks about how the whole Muslim world would look at us completely differently the day he was inaugurated. In his opinion, on that glorious day we would have a wonderful time of peace and love since he knows how to relate to the Muslims. I am going out on a limb here, but I do not think they got the message.
Watch the clip here:
As Rare reported:
“Well I truly believe that the day I’m inaugurated, not only does the country look at itself differently, but the world looks at America differently,” Obama said.
“If I’m reaching out to the Muslim world, they understand that I’ve lived in a Muslim country and I may be a Christian, but I also can understand their point of view,” he said. “I think that the world will have confidence that I am listening to them. That will ultimately make us safer.”
“Obviously that has not turned out to be the case,” guest Brit Hume told Kelly. “I think he is being confronted that the world as he thought he knew it, is not the world that is.”
Brit Hume rarely disappoints. He gives a compelling explanation for Obama’s confusion — the world is not as Obama expected with him as president, and he refuses to accept that.
This is exactly why Obama is always running off to his comfort zones — fund raisers and golf course. He’s avoiding the real world, which is turning out to be nothing like he imagined.
The Muslim point of view is that it’s ok to behead anyone that doesn’t share their beliefs. Do you feel safer with Obama in charge?
