Hillary Clinton’s new memoir, titled “What Happened,” was set to be released on Tuesday. However, on Monday night, the twice failed presidential candidate suffered a major embarrassment.
According to the Amazon description of What Happened, “For the first time, Hillary Rodham Clinton reveals what she was thinking and feeling during one of the most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections in history. Now free from the constraints of running, Hillary takes you inside the intense personal experience of becoming the first woman nominated for president by a major party in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference, and an opponent who broke all the rules. This is her most personal memoir yet.”
If that made you cringe, you’re not the only one. Those who have been able to get their hands on a copy of Hillary’s book ahead of the Tuesday release were left cringing, too.
In fact, they gave the memoir such terrible reviews that Amazon and Walmart were forced to slash the price of the book by 40% before it was even released. Ouch!
Amazon and Walmart both cut the price of 2016 failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s memoir ‘What Happened’ by 40% just a day before its release – SAD!
The book comes out Tuesday, but prices have already dropped for “What Happened” by 40%, from a price of $30 to a price of $17.99.
Much of what makes up the book has been detailed and reported on in the media thanks to copies that were leaked. The book – based on leaked information – is a series of excuses and reasons why she lost unrelated to her poor political performance. [Source: The Gateway Pundit]
Of the 40 people who reviewed Hillary’s book, 67% gave it just one star. According to one person who read the memoir, “I was able to find a copy that someone uploaded. Couldn’t bare to seriously read it all, but I read parts of it and skimmed through the rest. It was strange, absolutely bizarre at times, ultimately very sad. It’s difficult to understand exactly who is the intended audience for this book. I think even her most bitter supporters will find this book a little kooky.”
The reviewer added, “After reading what I could, I came away feeling like the country really dodged a bullet. I really thought she would win given that she was supported by almost every powerful establishment entity and funded with such outrageous amounts of money. The cover of the book should have her looking into a mirror. Then the book could have been a one page pamphlet. The real victim here was the poor ghostwriter that had to hear all of these ‘stories’ and turn them into a book.”
This scathing review of “What Happened” was actually better received than the book itself, adding insult to injury for Hillary Clinton. Indeed, we’re all pretty tired of hearing her never-ending excuses for losing the election. The fact that Amazon has been forced to slash the price of her book before even releasing it is an irrefutable sign that Hillary Clinton’s popularity is nowhere near as high as the mainstream media would have you believe.
