When one of Barack Obama’s “dreamers” was deported back to Mexico, liberals immediately blamed President Donald Trump’s administration for upholding the law. However, as soon as the illegal alien slithered his way back across the border, he delivered a nasty surprise to U.S. citizens, proving he should have never been here in the first place.
Despite leftists purporting that the unlawful Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program was put in place to protect innocent children, many of these now-adult “dreamers” are showing hard-working taxpayers and legal immigrants the countless ways they can abuse both the justice system and our economy. In fact, thanks to the Obama administration’s overreach, Trump is finding it incredibly difficult to protect U.S. citizens from the dire consequences these aliens inflict by refusing to even try to become legal citizens.
When 23-year-old Juan Manuel Montes-Bojorquez was deported to Mexico on 2 occasions in 2017, he continued to re-enter the U.S. illegally, as he had allegedly initially done with the help of his illegal alien parents at the age of 9. Refusing to apply for citizenship in his adult life, Montes continued showing the country that paved the way for his existence that he would never honor its laws and values. However, after being extradited a second time just months ago, the entitled illegal decided to give the burdened taxpayers the most vindictive revenge gift he could “dream” up.
By hypocritically claiming that he was “unlawfully” deported, the Department of Homeland Security has been duped into letting him back into the U.S. in order to use our courts to sue the Trump administration for upholding the law, according to Politico. Montes filed a federal lawsuit in San Diego in April and is now enjoying his time as the face of the left’s push for lawless amnesty in regards to Obama’s self-confessed illegal DACA implementation.
In an ironic twist that sheds light on the left’s logical fallacies, Montes, who has repeatedly broken the law to enter the U.S. illegally, is accusing the U.S. of illegally obeying current laws. Of course, we can assume that Montes isn’t going to be paying for the massive court fees and legal fees of his attorneys. No, that will again be the undeserved responsibility of the taxpayers and legal immigrants, one of whom Montes doesn’t want to take the steps to become but would have foot his expensive bill.
Aside from being able to repeatedly take advantage of our laws, Montes gained another privilege of which many could only dream — having his case defended by a federal justice who is also an Obama appointee and illegal alien sympathizer. U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel spoke with Justice Department Attorney Aaron Goldsmith, announcing that officials would be allowing Montes to re-enter the U.S. before his deposition and trial.
“We are prepared to parole him in the day before,” Goldsmith said, using the technical term for special permission to come into the U.S. temporarily without being formally admitted.
“It would be my request that the paroling of Mr. Montes provide him with at least seven days in advance of the deposition and the trial,” said Curiel, an Obama appointee. “Extending it to seven days is not something that Mr. Montes is manufacturing in order to receive some benefit. It is just part and parcel of the preparation that’s necessary to try a case.”
Montes is claiming that because he had reapplied for DACA in 2015, as he is allowed to do under the Obama-mandated program, border officials were breaking the law by deporting him. Homeland Security officials refuted his claim, arguing that because he had left the U.S. without permission, even his privileged DACA status was nullified, the San Diego Tribune reports.
“There are no records or evidence to support Montes-Bojorquez’s claim that he was detained or taken to the Calexico Port of Entry on February 18, 2017,” the agency said.
However, there are records of an encounter on Feb. 19, the agency said. Border Patrol agents apprehended Montes as he climbed the border fence in downtown Calexico, and “he admitted to agents that he had illegally entered the United States and was arrested,” DHS said.
Montes is the proverbial burglar who breaks into a house and ends up suing the homeowner for refusing to allow him to rob them. He asserts that because his law-breaking parents brought him into the U.S., it is the fault of the American people that he is now here. Of course, while he desperately wants to reap the benefits of living in our nation, he doesn’t want to become a legal citizen, as he’s proven by reapplying for DACA to remain illegally here but never applies for citizenship.
Although Montes has a better opportunity to apply for citizenship than the million of foreigners who would go through our system legally, he continues to mock legal immigrants’ hard work in keeping our nation’s laws. Not only does he ridicule our Constitution but also every immigrant who respects our nation’s values.
Because the left has no logical argument, they falsely accuse those who oppose illegal immigration and the unconstitutional DACA program as being racists. Of course, their accusation would include those legal immigrants who live in the U.S. today. However, legal and illegal are not races as liberals portray, and America has the right to uphold its laws just like every other country in the world.
