In Edgeley, North Dakota, a farmer has had it with the national anthem protests and the National Football League. In fact, the fed-up man decided to lash out by using the one thing at his disposal — his field. The blunt message he carved out has made quite the statement, making his thoughts on the matter quite clear.
Gene Hanson, along with many other Americans, is sick of watching the man-child millionaires of the NFL, making bank to play football while disrespecting our country and protesting the national anthem. Instead of just complaining about what they’re doing, he decided to make a statement by plowing a message in his field.
The massive bold message spans the length of two football fields within Hanson’s bean crops. Using his old Massey tractor on his 850-acre farm, he carved out his message for the NFL, which reads: “We stand for the national anthem.”
“I go with [President Donald] Trump on this one,” Hanson explained, according to Fox News. “If you want to protest, that’s not the place to do it.” He continued, “A lot of people died over our flag. We’re able to voice our opinion because of it. If you’re going to show respect for anything, do it for the national anthem.”
Since he doesn’t use GPS or any technology for his work, sometimes the messages get messed up. He admits that he’s been unsuccessful twice – this one is one of the two times. As he went to carve out the message initially, he was interrupted by a passerby with only two letters to go and was forced to relocate to another section of the field. In fact, he was going to add an addendum, which would have read, “We kneel at the cross,” but was unsuccessful after mother nature stepped in with the first frost ruining it. However, he hopes to add the phrase soon, weather permitting.
Hanson has completed a few other political messages in his fields in the past, which included, “Drain the Swamp,” “Blue Lives Matter,” “GOP, get your act together,” and “Vote Trump.” In fact, Mad World News has previously reported on one of his more controversial messages that read, “Vote Trump, Never Hillary.”
As an avid Trump supporter, Hanson is proud of his message, his political beliefs, and his president. As most of us do, he believes President Donald Trump is trying to do what’s right for the American people but is facing a “continuous battle” in Washington, D.C. Hanson says he often uses his messages to show his support for Trump and will continue to do it as long as he finds it relevant.
We can all learn something from Hanson, and that is the simple fact that he’s speaking out against what the liberal media wants us to think. Clearly, there are many people who back Donald Trump and conservative beliefs – we are just much quieter than the louder liberal nut jobs. Perhaps if we all started to voice our opinions, the mainstream media might be forced to report facts. Of course, maybe the main reason why we don’t do that is because we know they never will, but that hasn’t stopped this farmer from fighting back, nor should it stop us.
