A homeless veteran had needed help for some time, but he was denied for reasons unknown. Sadly, he ended up dying alone in the cold. As if that alone wasn’t already enraging, seeing what refugees were given during the same time frame makes it even worse.
While this particular incident occurred in Sweden, think of how easily it could have happened in America, and it likely already has due to the growing number of veterans becoming homeless. As refugees flood into Western nations, they’re given free food, housing, and spending cash, all while national heroes are denied even the most basic care from the very countries they served.
Such was the case in Sweden in early January, where a homeless veteran froze to death in the cold streets while an African Muslim family was given free food and housing and taught how to use the toilet on that very night. Deplorable? That’s an understatement. The country’s leaders should be ashamed of themselves for letting something like this happen.
BuzzPo has more on the enraging story:
This is what happens when bleeding heart liberals decide that bringing in refugees is more important than addressing homelessness in their own nation. This happened in Sweden in early January. But it’s also happening here in America.
‘Refugees’ arriving in Sweden are plied with an endless list of entitlements, as seen in the video. But during the same time frame this family was getting free housing, a homeless Swedish vet froze to death.
Sture, a homeless man in his 60s was found dead early Wednesday morning outside the hospital in Nynashamn. Sture had sought refuge from the cold in Nynäshamns hospital during the night. But he was not allowed to remain there. A security guard threw him out, and without any offers of housing from the municipality, and out of options, he was forced to spend the night at a bus stop outside the hospital.
In the morning he was found frozen to death, reports Nynäshamnsposten. Of course in Nynäshamnsposten the article about Sture’s death soon became just a notice, but Swedish alternative media dug up his story. Sture was a man who is described as a good worker throughout his life, including in the armed forces and at a nursing home.
Think such an enraging story couldn’t happen in America? It probably already has. There’s some 50,000 homeless veterans in our country, and we’ve already seen how the VA treats our nation’s heroes. Meanwhile, the Obama administration has announced plans to allow hundreds of thousands of refugees into the nation, all of whom will have their lives completely funded by We the People as our veterans suffer in the streets. Isn’t that nice? What’s become of our beloved country?
