1 Week After Medical Scare, Charles Manson Gets Even More Terrible News

Things are looking glum for serial killer Charles Manson, who last week was transported to a hospital in Bakersfield for gastrointestinal complications, as he just got even more terrible news.

Opposing Views is now reporting that the 82-year-old was too weak to undergo surgery for his intestinal bleeding and has been sent right back to his prison cell to deal with the pain all by himself.

Charles Manson is serving nine life sentences for leading an apocalyptic cult and conspiring in seven murders in the summer of 1969. He has been denied parole 12 times.

A lesion in Manson’s intestines was causing significant bleeding, so he was transferred from Corcoran State Prison in Bakersfield, California, to Mercy Hospital on January 3, sources told TMZ. At first, Manson refused surgery, but two days later, he changed his mind. However, on January 6, doctors determined during pre-op procedures that it would be life-threatening to operation on the cult leader due to his weak condition.

Terry Thornton, a spokeswoman for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, told the New York Daily News that as of the morning of January 7, the convicted murderer was back in his prison cell. “Inmate Manson is at California State Prison-Corcoran,” said Thornton, who could not reveal any further details on his health because of state and federal privacy laws.

Manson is serving nine life sentences for leading an apocalyptic cult and conspiring in seven murders in the summer of 1969. He has been denied parole 12 times, and his next hearing is scheduled for 2027 when he will be 92-years-old.

It certainly appears unlikely that the killer will live much longer, though. The most famous victim of the Manson Family is actress Sharon Tate, the wife of director Roman Polanski. The 26-year-old was nine months pregnant when she was murdered.

The failing health of Charles Manson is undoubtedly welcome news to the friends and family of his many victims. It looks as though it won’t be much longer until this psychopath kicks the bucket, and the world will be a better place when he does.
