Barack Obama won’t drop his false narrative that the Russians hacked the 2016 presidential election in favor of Donald Trump, costing Hillary Clinton the White House. However, his sinister reason for the continued blame has finally been exposed, revealing why the arrogant narcissist won’t quit his Russian lies, and it’s bad news for America.
Surely, the most narcissistic president in American history knows that a decentralized electoral college system is almost impossible to hack. After all, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by almost 3 million, and that right there should be enough evidence that the made-up attempts didn’t work, even if they did manage to hack the system in all fifty states. However, Obama is doing what he does best — fabricating a crisis so he can use it as an excuse to exploit the American people and give the government more power.
Manufacturing a crisis is nothing new to the Obama administration. Just remember how he attempts to destroy the gun rights of law-abiding citizens every time a lunatic has gone on a rampage. This is really par for the course, but this time, Obama wants a vast and exponential expansion of the federal government’s power because of the false hacking narrative.
“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste,” Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s just-named chief of staff, told a Wall Street Journal conference of top CEOs in November 2008 while his boss was still president-elect. Since then a slew of constitutionally dubious executive orders, presidential emergencies, and rushed legislation have characterized the Obama presidency. [Source: National Review]
As Obama is leaving office, he’s issuing a blizzard of “midnight regulations,” which are those signed between election day and inauguration day, and now, the most disturbing of Obama’s record number of “midnight regulations” has been signed, and it doesn’t look good for America.
The regulation will give the federal government, not the states, the power over elections by centralizing future elections. The Constitution explicitly gives states the power to set the “times, manner, and places of holding elections,” but citing the Russian hacking lie, Obama decided to wipe out more state’s rights in favor of a more dictatorial federal government, which is completely against everything the United States stands for.
Many are now questioning the constitutionality of this new regulation. Basically, state and local voting systems will be designated as “pieces of critical infrastructure” so that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) can “protect them from hackers” — hackers which the government has no proof ever existed.
“While the federal government has the general power to protect the nation’s cyber infrastructure, it cannot intrude into areas of state sovereignty without clear constitutional mandate,” John Yoo, a law professor at UC Berkeley said. Ironically, it was Obama who was adamant that we need not fear election tampering before Donald Trump won. How quickly his tune has changed when he didn’t get his way.
“If whenever things are going badly for you, and you lose, you start blaming somebody else? Then you don’t have what it takes to be in this job,” Obama said, almost prophetically during the 2016 presidential race as he slammed Donald Trump. Now, that very quote sounds like he’s talking about himself, and we would agree, he never had what it takes to be President of the United States.
His recent dictate only proves that further. He’s not presidential; he’s tyrannical. Using a false, manufactured crisis, Obama has just wiped out two centuries of states rights by signing this new regulation as he seems to be in a race to win a “best dictator” award. Perhaps someone should remind him, history is unkind to tyrants and a fight over state’s rights is what led our nation to war once before.
