With just days to go, you can bet that President Barack Obama is counting down the seconds until he gets to walk out of the Oval Office for good. Unfortunately for him, things just took a turn for the worse as the media found out what happened to a teen girl in the White House.
The incident took place on Monday as an 18-year-old family friend was visiting the Obamas in the White House. When the girl saw Sunny, the First Family’s dog, she decided to give the dog a little love, but things didn’t exactly go according to plan.

According to TMZ, “Sources connected to the girl tell us she went to pet and kiss Sunny, and the dog bit her on the face.” She was examined by Dr. Ronny Jackson, but things were far from over.
Making matters worse, the girl was told that the wound to her face couldn’t just be bandaged up and actually needed stitches to properly heal. Of course, she was told that she would likely have a small scar on her face from the incident, which only upset her even more.

With there being no reported instances of this taking place in the past, TMZ further reports:
The bite is out of character for the breed, which typically is not aggressive in family situations. The Obamas have 2 Portuguese Water Dogs — 8-year-old Bo has the title,”First Dog.”
The girl has since utilized social media to share her story, which has shocked a great many people. After all, just an inch upward and this dog could have very well done some very real damage to this girl.
Barack Obama is in the process of smoothing things over with the family, and there is no word on the dog currently – neither where it is now or what is expected to happen. Although I always hate to hear stories like this, it’s always a reminder that pets, even though they love us most the time, are still animals and can be unpredictable. With that said, I’m not sure what I’d do to a dog that bit the face of another person.
