In her second car crash in just 4 days, a migrant in Ohio ran over and killed a 7-month-old baby while his father was pushing him in a stroller. Despite homicide charges, the judge is considering allowing her to walk free without any jail time all because of one disturbing reason.
In their campaign for open borders, the left claims that the contributions to our society far outweigh any negative consequences from allowing in every migrant who desires to cross our borders. These so-called asylum seekers are painted as hard-working, educated victims of oppression who merely want a shot at the American dream. Of course, while these liberal elitists virtue-signal from the safety of their ivory towers, the most vulnerable of citizens are left to suffer the “contribution” far too many unvettable migrants offer.
Kenan Ferebee, 23, was pushing his 7-month-old son, Micah, in a stroller along the side of Westerville Road in Columbus when he encountered the multiculturalism the left reveres on June 2, 2016. While driving without a license, Somali Muslim migrant Muhuba Ali Mohamed, 31, swerved into the father and infant, running over the pair and killing baby Micah in what would be her second car crash in just 4 days. Although Mohamed has been charged and convicted of vehicular homicide, a county judge is actually mulling over allowing her to escape any jail time for the most bizarre reason.
The Columbus Dispatch reports that after being charged with vehicular homicide, Mohamed allegedly faces only 1 to 5 years in prison but the judge is considering only giving her probation because repeatedly driving without a license, being distracted by her cell phone, and causing multiple collisions within days of each other apparently don’t signify “recklessness.”
Although Common Pleas Judge Laurel Beatty Blunt was informed that Mohamed was continuing to drive alone with a temporary permit requiring a licensed driver to ride with her even after causing a single-car crash 4 days earlier, she believes that the migrant is somehow guilty of “reckless conduct” but not “recklessness.”
“Not one of those single things amounts to recklessness,” Beatty Blunt said, “but when you look at the totality of the circumstances, the court does rule that it does amount to reckless conduct.”
Judge Blunt has disturbingly ignored the testimony of the homeowner who witnessed the crash. The resident explained that he saw Mohamed holding what appeared to be a cell phone while veering off the road into Kenan and Micah before crashing into the man’s porch, according to 10TV.com.
A grand jury found Mohamed guilty of homicide, but Judge Blunt will not pass sentencing until November 29. In the meantime, the judge ordered Mohamed to surrender her passport immediately in an effort to keep her from traveling back to Somalia. Still, just months before the trial, Mohamed’s family told reporters that they had no idea of her whereabouts, suggesting she had fled. Investigators soon discovered that they were attempting to hide the migrant criminal, which is a common response in America’s Somali Muslim communities.
Mohamed has maintained that she was never informed that having a temporary driving permit meant that she must have a licensed driver in the car with her at all times. Of course, immigration services ensure that they provide migrants with interpreters to translate legal information and that the client must confirm that they understand the law. However, Mohamed would’ve at least known that her actions were illegal after her initial collision just days before killing baby Micah.
If Mohamed had respected our laws, an innocent newborn would still be alive. Because of not only her negligence but deliberate flouting of the law, she has forever changed the lives of a family who was barely able to celebrate a new life before it was swiftly and violently taken away.
Of course, the Quran teaches that all man-made laws are subordinate when it comes to Sharia law and, therefore, must be broken in favor of Islam.
Quran (4:59-60) – O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger (SAW), if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination. Have you seen those (hyprocrites) who claim that they believe in that which has been sent down to you, and that which was sent down before you, and they wish to go for judgment (in their disputes) to the Taghut (false judges, etc.) while they have been ordered to reject them. But Shaitan (Satan) wishes to lead them far astray.
This verse forbids the following of laws other than Sharia and rebukes the judgment of judges outside of the Sharia courts. In fact, it even discourages Muslims from following leaders who are not Muslim men adhering to Sharia.
Mohamed is just one example of countless migrants who demand to live in our progressive nation while rejecting our laws and values for an oppressive, violent religious doctrine.
