Rep. Ilhan Omar is watching as her political career goes up in flames. In a little-known video from 2013 that the Congresswoman thought no one would ever see, she is caught laughing at the fear al-Qaeda inspired in Americans after the 9/11 attacks. Now, the Minnesota Representative is running scared as she was really made to regret it. Don’t miss this.

Rep. Ilhan Omar is in hot water, and it’s looking rather bleak for her political career. Strike one was her anti-Semitic remarks, strike two was her 9/11 remarks, and strike three is now this video where the Somali immigrant is laughing at the fear al-Qaeda inspired in Americans following 9/11.

Three strikes and she’s out, right? It’s starting to look that way. Omar made the remarks during a 2013 interview on the show “Belahdan” on Twin Cities PBS which was first unearthed by Fox News in February. The segment in question resurfaced this week when it was posted online by The Reagan Battalion, and it quickly generated outrage from conservative commentators.

“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class… The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up,” Omar said during an interview when she was an activist within the Somali community, chuckling as she imitated the professor saying “Al Qaeda” and “Hezbollah.”

It should also be noted the Congresswoman attended North Dakota State University. Omar went on to contrast the way people say the names of terror groups with how they pronounce the names of western powers.

“But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” Omar continued, having a real laugh over it. “But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.”

It’s really funny, right? Well, that’s not what Omar’s fellow Muslim Asra Nomani, founder of the Muslim Reform Movement organization, thinks about the Congresswoman’s remarks. She appeared in a heated exchange on Fox News’ Laura Ingraham’s show last night.

Nomani said the way Omar referred to the attack on 9/11 was “completely callous and insensitive,” and she added that it is “typical” of what she and other American Muslims hear “in our living rooms and in our mosques.”

“The denial and obfuscation of tragedies expressed are because of an extremist interpretation of Islam,” Nomani added. “What’s happening now [with Omar] is that you all are getting to see it in primetime.”

Nomani wasn’t scared to call out Rep. Omar as a Muslim extremist, even though Qasim Rashid, a Democratic candidate for the Virginia State Senate, turned his back on her and tried to cover for Omar as Laura Ingraham looked on:

The Daily Caller reported: “Rep. Ilhan Omar appeared to shrug off the notion that al-Qaeda is dangerous and mocked Americans who believe so. What Omar did not mention was the fact that she took the class prior to her graduation in 2011 — before the rise of ISIS — which suggests that al-Qaeda was the major operating terrorist organization at the time.”

Well, Americans have had enough. “I’ve never seen someone have such a great time & laughing so much discussing Al-Qaeda & terrorism. What other topics give her this much enjoyment? Cancer? Child abuse? How people like this get a public platform is sickening…” tweeted Antonella 212.

“Moderator is Agreeing! He ‘loves those guys’-CNN. Ilhan Omar Laughs And Jokes While Talking About Al-Qaeda And Hezbollah. Terrorism is Hilarious & on House Foreign Relations Com.? Omar should be censored along with her protector @SpeakerPelosi,”posted Twitter user “67Tiger3.”

“Unfortunately, liberal media will not show Omar’s confession of her allegiance to Islamic extremists are real. It’s obvious she won’t respectfully say ‘America’. Her enthusiastic praise & support for Hezbollah & Al-Qaeda (dangerous extremist Islamic organizations) is appalling,” tweeted “Khalani.”

Indeed, Rep. Omar was making these remarks when America’s number one enemy was al-Qaeda, and it was prior to the capture and death of Osma Bin Laden. The Minnesotan was laughing at the fear al-Qaeda inspired in Americans, and she somehow thought we should react to “the army” or to “England” in the same way we would to the terrorist organization that killed almost 3,000 Americans on 9/11.

Well, the good news is Rep. Omar is now getting hammered so badly political insiders are whispering she might have to resign. Patriots are up in arms, and just like right after 9/11, we will never forget Omar’s hateful attitude or disgusting remarks toward America and Americans.
