Representative Maxine Waters delivered another of her nutty rants that liberals have come to love. As usual, Waters fired off one left-wing narrative after another, and now, behind closed doors, liberals are concerned that she will soon put her foot in her mouth so badly that they will all pay the price.

As Huffington Post reports, Waters has blasted Fox News host Bill O’Reilly on a number of occasions for his alleged treatment of women. When the New York Times broke the story that O’Reilly and Fox News had paid $13 million in settlements to women over sexual harassment complaints, she said that O’Reilly “needs to go to jail.”

O’Reilly picked a particularly personal fight with Waters when he said of her, “I didn’t hear a word she said. I was looking at the James Brown wig.” O’Reilly later apologized for the insult.

Last night, Waters joined Anderson Cooper of CNN to continue her discussion of O’Reilly’s recent troubles at Fox News. At first, her comments stuck close to the issue, but as usual, she quickly began to digress into a freelance monolog.

“Unfortunately, he was a man who made tremendous sums of money, had a huge show, and really, there’s something wrong with him psychologically,” Waters told Cooper. “I hope he seeks some help,” she added. “And I hope that the women who have come forward feel good about the justice they are receiving.” Once the discussion ventured further into the topics of women’s rights, Waters amped up the rhetoric even further.

“This is an era of women who are fed up with being taken advantage of,” she concluded. “Particularly in the workplace. We’ve been hearing about this for years. Remember the stories about the ‘casting couch’ and what women in the entertainment industry had to do? Well, these stories are legendary. All over this country perhaps all over this world, women have been taken advantage of.”

“Powerful men with a lot of money, who would proposition women, taken advantage of them. They thought that was normal. And the way that life should be.”

“And so, it is only been in recent years that women have felt strong enough to come forward and to talk about what has happened to them,” Waters continued. “Just think how many women depended on their jobs and didn’t want to lose their jobs, and was afraid to say anything. But things have changed. Life is changing for women. Women are feeling stronger, coming forward, standing up for themselves.  [Source: The Blaze]

Watch the interview, below:

This is precisely the kind of speech from Waters that liberals love. She is an animated black woman with a passion for bashing men, particularly white men like Bill O’Reilly and President Donald Trump, who have achieved success in life and are rumored to have the occasional controversial relationship with women.

However, there is an elephant in the broadcast room, and it is one that liberals and conservatives alike are aware of. As Maxine Waters continues to rise as a star in the liberal community, ranting against the evils of white men against women, she will eventually have to address the indiscretions of one of her own, former President Bill Clinton. However, unlike O’Reilly and Trump, Bill’s indiscretions aren’t just rumors. They are fact, proved by the DNA he left on an infamous blue dress.

Of course, if Bill O’Reilly or anyone else mistreats a female, in the workplace or otherwise, they should be held accountable for their misdeeds. However, the same should also be true for former presidents, such as the philandering Bill Clinton.

The liberal double-standard is clear, yet again, in this case. The left loves Maxine Waters because of her theatrical explanation of these narratives. Unfortunately, for them, she is not smart enough to convey the message without implicating one of their own. She is like a ticking time bomb, and soon it may explode and take a few liberals out with it.
