Police Apologize after Someone Noticed THIS Bumper Sticker on Their Cruiser

Police from the Massachusetts State Police are apologizing Monday after accusing someone of photoshopping a racist bumper sticker on the bumper of one of their police vehicles.

Police Apologize after Someone Noticed THIS Bumper Sticker on Their Cruiser

Chris Kantos walked by the police cruiser Sunday morning and noticed the sticker which said “Racial Profiling Saves Lives.” Kantos snapped a picture of the bumper of the cruiser and then tweeted it to the Massachusetts State Police and Gov. Deval Patrick.

Instead of apologizing for the sticker on the vehicle, the Massachusetts State Police used their official Twitter account to accuse Kantos of fabricating the photo.

“Why on earth would I photoshop something like that?” Kantos asked on Twitter.

After an apparent investigation was conducted, the Massachusetts State Police finally admitted they were at fault.

At least they finally apologized, but it would have been better to investigate the issue before accusing one of their citizens of vandalism!
