Rush: It’s A National Emergency & Our Culture At Risk From Illegals, Nancy Freaks Out

Rush Limbaugh was on fire Sunday morning on Fox News. The radio icon said, “We have an emergency. This is an invasion…the Democrats want a parade of illegal people who are uneducated, don’t even speak the language, they want them here. It is a crisis.” Fox News’ Chris Wallace tried to stick up for Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama’s so-called national emergencies, and that’s when Rush really made the Speaker of the House freak out. You’ll love this.

The Democrats and their cohorts in the mainstream media say those of us who are worried about our American culture getting lost by the influx of illegal aliens are racists and bigots. It has come to the point if you are pro-American, the leftists see you as a KKK member.

So when Rush Limbaugh had the guts to take on Chris Wallace on Fox News and say what so many of us Americans are thinking, it was truly brilliant. Wallace asked the 66-year-old Trump supporter “as a Constitutional conservative if he really had no problem with the president declaring a national emergency, and taking money Congress refused to give him?”

We have an emergency. This is an invasion,” Rush told Wallace. “The very existence and definition of American culture, American society, the rule of law. Why does nobody talk about the fact that millions and millions and millions of people are breaking the law coming here illegally and that the Democrat Party wants that to happen?”

He added, “It is undeniable that we have a major immigration problem and a political party that needs a permanent underclass of voters that wants that parade of illegal people who are uneducated, don’t even speak the language, they want them here. It is a crisis.”

Wallace then tries to trip up Limbaugh with the old “but when Obama called a national emergency, you were outraged.” The Fox host then played for Limbaugh his negative reactions to the 44th president’s executive orders on deferred action against the DREAMers, and when Obama threatened to protect the parents of all DACA kids.

Limbaugh was outraged by Obama’s executive orders, and he told Wallace, “You may look at it that way, I don’t. What Obama was doing was furthering this existing problem [illegal immigration] and he was politicizing this…and yes I objected to that but primarily because of what he was doing with these executive powers. He was taking action that I deemed to be harmful to the country. I am looking at what Trump is doing because he has too [to protect America.]”

Well, that shut down Wallace, and Limbaugh went on to blast Nancy Pelosi’s spending bill as “outrageous,” which includes “welcoming centers for illegals, and all kinds of free medical care.”

The 66-year-old radio hall of fame recipient then explains that the Democrats along with RINOs are trying to tell the American people: “See, electing Trump was pointless, worthless. He can’t protect you, he can’t stop us, he can’t do what he said he was gonna do because we hate him so much we aren’t gonna allow him to do it.’ That’s what this bill is,” said Rush.

“It all boils down to where are we going as a country,” Limbaugh said. “What kind of country are we gonna have? And if anyone is willing to go to the limit to make sure this country remains as founded, they have my support.”

This national emergency along with the millions of Americans like Limbaugh who are supporting it caused Nancy Pelosi to go into panic mode. The 78-year-old Speaker tried to equate Trump declaring a national emergency over the ongoing border crisis, to a future Democrat president declaring a national emergency and banning all guns.

“If the president can declare an emergency on something that he has created as an emergency,” Pelosi began. “An illusion that he wants to convey — just think of what a president with different values can present to the American people.”

And then she recalled the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on February 14, 2018. “You want to talk about a national emergency?” Pelosi asked. “Let’s talk about today, the one-year anniversary of another manifestation of the epidemic of gun violence in America. That’s a national emergency. Why don’t you declare that emergency, Mr. President? I wish you would.”

Nice try by old Pelosi, but our right to bear arms is in the Constitution. You can’t declare a national emergency on the Constitution. It’s a ridiculous analogy. Yet, it was the Democrats themselves who deemed the border situation a “humanitarian crisis.”

Does it not say in the oath the president takes to “defend this nation from all enemies foreign and domestic?” He also has a solemn duty to keep our national borders strong and intact. When borders fail, countries fall. It’s as simple as that. None of this is rocket science.

There is a clear and present danger at our Southern border. If Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer don’t see that, well maybe they should spend the night out in the open right where illegals cross unencumbered into the United States.

Barack Obama used his executive orders to ensure illegal aliens could continue to break the law and stay in this country. President Donald Trump is declaring a national emergency to make sure Americans are safe and the rule of law is upheld. He is ensuring our national sovereignty. And anyone who tells you that’s going against the Constitution, not only doesn’t know what they are talking about, they have no business calling themselves a patriotic American.
