Patrons of a local Oklahoma store were shocked to see something out of the ordinary just before walking inside. As it turns out, the owner decided to send a strong message by putting a sign in the window – and all it took was 4 words to leave every thug in town absolutely furious.
The incident took place at Midwest Wine & Spirits in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, after management grew sick and tired of entitled punks taking advantage of and disrespecting their business. So, they decided to do something about their frustrations and erected a sign that made their stance on the matter crystal clear.
As Weasel Zippers reports, all it took was 4 words to tick off every thug in town as the shop demanded that everyone “pull your pants up” before you come in.

Of course, it didn’t take long for people to start complaining about the sign, but that isn’t stopping the store from leaving it up. In fact, employee Shana Wiessner flat out told local news affiliates that if potential patrons didn’t like the rule, then they should take their business elsewhere.
“It’s tacky, and it’s gross, and we’re adults,” she said, driving her point home. “Pull up your pants.”
However, management also explains that this sign actually goes a bit further than just demanding common decency. Come to find out, thieving thugs who rob the store often come in wearing their clothes in the now-banned fashion. “Usually, when people come in with their pants sagging, it’s easier for them to steal bottles,” Wiessner noted.
As one would imagine, most people seem to agree with the sign, simply saying that as long as people are all treated the same, they don’t have a problem with it. Sadly, a few entitled brats seem to think the sign goes too far, saying that it’s a liquor store and not a church or family establishment. Too bad for those people, it doesn’t look like the sign is coming down anytime soon.
“We don’t need their business if they’re not going to be by the rules,” Wiessner concluded. “We got rules around here, people.”
There are certain ways people should act and present themselves in public, and wearing your underwear underneath your clothes is one of them. Wiessner is right; no one wants to see your underwear no matter how “cool” you think you look.
Sadly, this is what society has come to as entitled brats have been told that they can do whatever they want without consequence. However, that’s not even remotely true, and in this country, business owners have the right to run their business as they see fit. So, do what you’re told or go somewhere else – it’s as simple as that. It really shouldn’t be that hard of a concept to make sure your pants are up anyway. I mean, we’re not children. Act like a grown up or else society will start teaching you the lessons your parents should have several years ago.
