President Donald Trump was in France this week, visiting one of America’s strongest allies and celebrating Bastille Day, a close equivalent to our own Independence Day. The national holiday marks the turning point in France’s struggle to overthrow the monarchy, just as July 4th represents the day we declared our own independence from Great Britain. As Trump delivered his remarks in Paris to commemorate the occasion, audience members noticed something “weird” was missing, but you’re sure to get a kick out of it.
Trump delivered his remarks at the U.S. Embassy to U.S. military members and their families this week, but something was notably missing from the crowd: mainstream media reporters. According to Brian Bennett of the LA Times, reporters were deliberately kept away from the speech. In fact, Trump penned them up inside a darkened room like a bunch of barnyard animals.

It doesn’t take a genius to see that the president has become so fed up with American reporters, who choose to only cover his administration in a negative light – even if they have to bend the facts to do so, that he has now completely shunned them. You really can’t blame him, either.
Just take, for example, what they did in Poland last week, reporting that First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda had snubbed Trump by refusing to shake his hand when, in reality, those on the left were simply pushing an edited video of their exchange which did not show the moment Duda offered Trump the warmest of welcomes.
So why would Trump keep the media penned up in a dark room while he delivered remarks to U.S. military members in Paris?
Well, the answer is obvious. The media is so focused on tearing our president apart, Trump wanted to spare the hardworking men and women of our armed forces the indignity of having liberal reporters running back and forth during the speech to spread more lies about the Administration.

Trump is only employing the biblical principle of “do unto others as they do unto you,” so no one should be up in arms about his latest snub to the media. The press has treated him like a second-rate president since the day he won the election, so he is now treating them like the children they act like.
To add insult to the media’s injury, Trump’s latest move to put them in their place has only added to his support. The press continues to try their best to paint him as a villain, and every time he beats them at their own game, his chances of winning a second term go up. It couldn’t be more entertaining to watch, really.
Sooner or later, the media will have to come to terms with the fact that Trump is not your average president; he’s not going to bend over and take it as they dish out biased report after biased report to make him look bad. If they won’t report fairly, he will relegate them to a windowless room and they can report on his speeches when they watch the video afterward.
