The FBI recently raided 16 different Maryland businesses and arrested 14 people, mostly Muslims, after months of investigation. As it turns out, the Islamists had quite the dirty secret they were hiding. When people found out what had been going on in those businesses, they weren’t too happy.
The raids recently took place in Baltimore after government officials learned that there was a massive crime ring involving several area businesses. Although they didn’t notice for quite some time, it wasn’t long before the FBI linked together the series of convenience and grocery stores that had a dirty back room secret.
A group of greedy freeloaders was actively taking part in a large food stamp fraud ring that managed to steal a whopping $16,482,270. Involving 16 separate establishments, officials arrested 14 people – mostly Muslim – who are set to spend quite some time behind bars.
According to reports, the group had been exchanging food stamp benefits for cash at a lower value – but that’s not all. In an attempt to cover their tracks, the group would withdraw small amounts from EBT cards several times a day until the agreed upon amount had been fully transferred.
Unfortunately for them, their plan spectacularly backfired, and now they’re each looking at a maximum of 20 years in prison for each count of wire fraud, a max of five years for conspiracy to commit food stamp fraud and wire fraud, and five years max for food stamp fraud. In all, the list of those arrested are as follows:
- Walayat Khan, 36, of Reisterstown
- Barbara Ann Duke, 50, of Owings Mills
- Shaheen Tasewar Hussain, 60, of Ellicott City
- Kelym Novas Perez, 34, of Baltimore
- Jose Remedio Gonzalez Reyes, 50, of Baltimore
- Mulazam Hussain, 54, of Windsor Mill
- Mahmood Hussain Shah, 57, of Catonsville
- Muhammad Rafiq, 58, of Reisterstown
- Mohammad Shafiq, 50, of Gwynn Oak, Maryland; and his daughter
- Alia Shaheen, 24, of Baltimore
- Mohammad Irfan, 59, of Nottingham
- Muhammad Sarmad, 40, of Nottingham
- Rizwan Pervez, 38, of Essex
- Kassem Mohammad Hafeed, a/k/a Kassam Mohammad Hafeed, 51, of Baltimore
As one would imagine, the government officials weren’t too happy after hearing what had been quietly happening in the backs of all those shops. “The food stamp program is intended to put food on the tables of needy recipients, not to put money in the pockets of greedy criminals,” said U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein. “Honest store owners work hard to earn a profit by actually selling food, and food producers and distributors also benefit. People who play by the rules deserve to know that criminals who defraud them will be held accountable.”
Although the left would have you believe the religion of Islam is the “religion of peace,” that clearly isn’t the case. Muslims continue to demonstrate their self-serving nature on a daily basis, and its disgusting acts like this that make it apparent. Assimilation is key when it comes to an uncivilized culture entering Western society. Clearly, Muslims have a problem with this concept.
