They vandalized his property and scared his wife, who barricaded herself in the pantry.
According to The Daily Caller, a left-wing mob showed up outside Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s Washington, D.C. home on Wednesday evening, posted pictures of his address online, and demanded that he flee the city.
Carlson, a co-founder of The Daily Caller and host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” was at the Fox News studio preparing for his live evening show when the angry crowd showed up outside of his house. However, his wife was home at the time and barricaded herself in the home’s pantry because she feared an invasion.
At least one of the protesters went all the way up to Carlson’s front door, where they left a sign with his family’s home address written on it and rang his doorbell. A picture of the sign with the Carlson family’s address on it was then posted to Twitter, but it has since been deleted.
Video footage which the group, called “Smash Racism DC,” posted to Twitter showed one of the mob’s ringleaders leading the crowd in chants of “racist scumbag, leave town!” and “Tucker Carlson, we will fight! We know where you sleep at night!”
In another video posted to Twitter, the protesters chanted, “No borders! No walls! No USA at all!” All of the videos have since been taken down and Smash Racism DC’s Twitter account has been suspended.
Carlson has been a fierce supporter of President Donald Trump’s hardline immigration policy and an unabashed advocate of building an impenetrable border wall between the U.S. and Mexico in order to stop dangerous gang members, criminals, and drug traffickers from entering the country illegally.
“Tucker Carlson, you cannot hide from the people you hurt with your rhetoric, your lies, and your hate,” the group wrote on Twitter, adding the hashtag “#KnockKnockTucker.”

“Tucker Carlson, we are outside your home to protest … fascism and racism,” one demonstrator can be heard saying in a video of the protest shared online. “You promote hate.”
The recording also captures the crowd breaking out into a chant: “Tucker Carlson, we will fight! We know where you sleep at night!”

“It wasn’t a protest. It was a threat,” Carlson told The Washington Post in response to the incident. “I called my wife. She had been in the kitchen alone getting ready to go to dinner and she heard pounding on the front door and screaming. Someone started throwing himself against the front door and actually cracked the front door.”
“Smash Racism DC” is the same radical group which previously chased Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz and his wife out of a restaurant during Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings:

Once again, we see that the left is not really the party of “acceptance” and “tolerance” as they claim. If they were, they’d be open to opposing views, not harassing the families of political pundits who advocate for national security. No one should feel unsafe in their own home simply because they hold conservative views.
In reality, as soon as you express an opinion which conflicts which the progressive agenda — open borders, globalism, and general disregard for the rule of law — the left puts a target on your back. There is perhaps no bigger lie than the one told by Democrats every day when they espouse the values of acceptance and tolerance, yet, at the same time, defend groups like “Smash Racism DC,” which ought to be classified as a terrorist organization.
