Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is now calling for banning all semi-automatic guns, and she would also be on board with gun confiscation. Based on her statements last night, the 29-year-old author of the Green New Deal believes banning guns is a no-brainer and only crazy hicks in the sticks are against it.
“Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) called for banning all semi-automatic firearms on Thursday night after championing New Zealand’s radical new gun control measures, which includes government confiscation of nearly all semi-automatic firearms,” the Daily Wire reports.
The 29-year-old congresswoman tweeted on Wednesday: “Sandy Hook happened 6 years ago and we can’t even get the Senate to hold a vote on universal background checks w/ #HR8. Christchurch happened, and within days New Zealand acted to get weapons of war out of the consumer market.”
Included in that tweet was a video of liberal New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announcing the new gun control laws. “This is what leadership looks like,” Ocasio-Cortez added.

Maybe she should just move to New Zealand?
However, she was just getting started pontificating about how she will take your Second Amendment rights away along with being grossly ignorant on what a semi-automatic gun is.
“On Thursday night, Ocasio-Cortez flat out called for banning all semi-automatic firearms, which would include handguns, and called for banning bump stocks and high capacity magazines,” the Daily Wire added.

Does this dimwit even know what a semi-automatic gun is? Most all guns sold today are semi-automatics. People like AOC confuse semi-automatic with fully-automatic guns which are illegal. A semi-automatic gun can only fire one shot at a time.
Semi-automatics that gun control supporters call “assault weapons” cannot “spray fire,” they aren’t designed to be fired “from the hip,” they aren’t “easy to convert” into machine guns, and they’re not used by the military or by terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Contrary to the absurd claims of former handgun ban advocate, now semi-automatic rifle and shotgun ban advocate, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, they’re not “weapons of mass destruction,” there are no devices that allow them to be converted into machine guns legally, and they aren’t equipped with “grenade launchers” and “rocket launchers.”
In fact, when you think about revolvers, which are not considered semi-automatics, think about the old “Dirty Harry” gun from the Clint Eastwood movie. That’s a .44 Remington Magnum revolver which would be legal and safe according to AOC. At least for a while, until they would just do total confiscation. Now, do you see how the gun control crowd are not only nuts but they are also misinformed?
They don’t have any idea about guns and don’t care about statistics, either.
They love to point to Australia’s gun confiscation as a winner. Well, we know shootings and murder did not go down after the gun confiscation. According to a 2007 report, “Gun Laws and Sudden Death: Did the Australian Firearms Legislation of 1996 Make a Difference?” It concludes Australia’s gun confiscation did not impact the number of shootings or murder prior to the gun ban.
Well, American patriots let AOC have it over her latest gun ban plan. “Aren’t your 15 minutes over yet? The movie Idiocracy is coming to life with you and your ignorance….. No, rather your Stupidity. There are literally thousands of pissed off patriots who chewed AOC out over her ignorant rants on gun control. Americans feel strongly about their God-given right to self-protection which includes the right to bear arms. There’s a clear reason the Founding Fathers made the right to bear arms the Second Amendment. It is there to protect the First Amendment. They knew when a nation gives up it’s right to bear arms, every other right is gone soon after.
It’s what Adolf Hitler did, it’s what all dictators in history did to control and enslave the people. We would be giving up our freedom. That sounds dramatic, but that’s what it comes down to, make no mistake. That’s why anytime some nutjob like AOC comes along and starts talking nonsense, we must always push back. Thank God so many Americans are pushing back, but we must keep it up. Make sure all your family friends know they are coming for our guns, again.
