The 37-year-old is a rabid Trump-hater who said he would be willing to risk alienating half his audience so he can continue to trash the president. Well, that’s when the leftwing actor got destroyed. It might be a surprise for some that Avengers star Chris Evans hates the president so much he couldn’t care less about alienating his fans. He was interviewed by the Hollywood Reporter last month, and even though the Mueller report was not yet out, we doubt with his level of Trump Derangement Syndrome it would make much of a difference.
“You don’t want to alienate half your audience,” Chris Evans told The Hollywood Reporter in an article published today. “But I’d be disappointed in myself if I didn’t speak up. Especially for fear of some monetary repercussion or career damage — that just feels really gross to me.”
What feels really gross to Trump supporters is that we have a guy playing “Captain America” who supports the hardcore Democrats who are attempting to usher in socialism and destroy our nation. The 37-year-old also admitted that he would have a hard time being friends with someone who was a Trump supporter, specifically in reference to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
“I really hope he’s not a Trump supporter,” he said. “I’m just hoping he’s one of those guys that maybe supported him and now regrets it.”
“Maybe he thought it was going to be different–and even that bothers me–but maybe there’s a chance now he just thinks Trump’s an absolute dumb sh*t, which he is,” the Captain America: The First Avenger star continued. “If he doesn’t, if he’s still on that Trump train, I might have to cut ties. It’s really tough.”
Evans also has been brainwashed about this ridiculous notion of “white male privilege.” He tells THR he’s learned that shutting up is important, too. At Slate’s urging, he read Rebecca Solnit’s The Mother of All Questions, a collection of essays about the insidious side effects of the so-called patriarchy, and claimed he “took away a great deal.”
“You have to understand that you don’t understand,” he says. “It’s not the most action-heroish way to look at things — but that may be the secret of his appeal as a movie star,” claims The Hollywood Reporter.
Evans admitted that the Trump presidency made him feel “rage” and “fury” in 2017. “It’s unbelievable. People were just so desperate to hear someone say that someone is to blame,” he said. If that’s his take on why Trump won, he’s exceedingly more ignorant than we thought. But, Evans isn’t so “woke” that he can’t indulge in a little homophobia.
In January, he happily slandered Sen. Lindsey Graham by insinuating he was being blackmailed, following the lead of Rep. Ilhan Omar and other Hollywood stars and media figures who mocked Graham over rumors that he is a closeted gay man.

There should be some kind of rule if you play the role of “Captain America”: you can’t be a dense, dimwitted, budding socialist. You definitely can’t spew nonsense about “white male privilege” and be one of the biggest beta males out there. Chris Evans would make most patriotic American women’s skin crawl.
Take heart, Trump supporters. History won’t be kind to these leftwing losers. And in the end, Chris Evans and his Hollywood buddies will go down as part of the “resistance” to the president who made America great again.
