Former Vice-President Joe Biden was in South Carolina on Sunday for a campaign stop. Hoping to connect with churchgoers, the 2020 candidate attended Mass at a local Catholic Church were he got utterly humiliated. As Biden approached to take Holy Communion at Saint Anthony’s Parish, he was stunned as he was turned away by Father Robert E. Morey, who also had a message for all the 2020 Democrats running against President Donald Trump. You’ll love this.
Can there be anything more humiliating than to be formally chastised at a packed church service where everyone watched you being denied Holy Communion due to being in a state of grave sin? Well, that’s what just happened to Joe Biden, who took his status as the former vice-president for granted.
Biden, including his experienced campaign staff, clearly underestimated the possibility that some little parish priest would be so bold and rightly deny him the Eucharist. In fact, they were so embarrassed, the Biden campaign still has not recovered to make a statement.
It all started in what the Biden people hoped would be a great day in South Carolina. Joe Biden, despite his endless gaffes, is at his best with middle-class voters. So, hoping to cash in on his Catholic faith, Biden turned up for Sunday Mass at St. Anthony’s Parish in Florence, South Carolina.
The South Carolina Morning News reported that Father Robert E. Morey denied Biden communion because of the presidential candidate and lifelong Catholic’s aggressive pro-abortion beliefs.
“As a priest, it is my responsibility to minister to those souls entrusted to my care, and I must do so even in the most difficult situations,” Morey added. “I will keep Mr. Biden in my prayers.”
When Father Morey says “any public figure who advocates for abortion,” he is pointing right at every Democrat running for the presidency, not just Joe Biden.
Father Morey was bold and brave in denying Holy Communion to Biden. He probably will get grief from a few hardcore leftist Bishops in the United States who fail to uphold the clear cut teachings of the Church. Instead, they bow down to political correctness, and Biden’s campaign knows exactly who they are.
However, we suspect this was a no-brainer for this faithful priest. Holy Communion is one of the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church. Since Catholics believe the bread and wine become the true Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ during Mass through “transubstantiation,” you must be in a state of grace to receive the sacrament.
Biden started out pro-life. By 1981, he sold his soul to evil as he fully embraced voting for abortion.
In 1974, as abortion became legal Biden was pro-life. By 1981, he fully embraced abortion as the Democrat Party became the party of death and entrenched with Planned Parenthood, who would donate tons of money to politicians to protect them.
The first thing Biden did when he announced his candidacy last June was to give up his last connection to anything remotely pro-life. He flip-flopped on his stance on the Hyde Amendment, which prevents taxpayer funds from being used to fund abortions.
Franklin Graham also confronted Biden. “Democratic presidential hopeful @JoeBiden was denied communion by a priest in SC over the weekend because of his pro-abortion stance,” Graham tweeted. “I applaud the fact that this priest did what he thought was right at the risk of possible public or political ire.”
“I wish more churches, pastors & priests would take a strong stand against abortion,” Graham added. “Sometimes the role of addressing hard truths has been set aside in the church in an attempt to accommodate culture. No matter how society paints the lie, abortion is murder in the eyes of God.”

At this point, we could not find a Democrat politician in the D.C. swamp who does not fully embrace abortion. Many high-profile Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez profess to be good Catholics. We call them “Catholics in name only” or CINO’s.
AOC even published an op-ed on her so-called deep Catholic faith and how Socialism is Christ-like. It was a total joke. Socialism and Communism were condemned by the Catholic Church long ago. This is important to note as we go into the 2020 election where the Democrats are also pushing for dangerous Socialist polices. We should all pray daily for President Trump and that God will deliver our nation from evil.
