Bill Nye appeared on HBO and went bonkers over climate change. In a profanity-laced rant, the so-called expert took umbrage with Americans who aren’t freaking out by the leftist claim the world is in utter meltdown mode. “The planet is on f*cking fire,” yelled Nye, and that’s when he was the one who got torched. Don’t miss this.
The video of Nye showed him in his lab coat accompanied by a globe, a blanket, a fire extinguisher, and a pile of sand. Nye stated, “Here, I’ve got an experiment for you. Safety glasses on.” Donning glasses, he continued, “By the end of this century, if emissions keep rising, the average temperature on Earth could go up another 4 to 8 degrees.” Yanking out a blowtorch, he then announced, “What I’m saying is, the planet’s on f***ing fire!”
Nye torched the globe, then pointed to the sand, blanket, and fire extinguisher on the table with the globe, saying, “There are a lot of things we could do to put it out. Are any of them free? No, of course not, nothing’s free, you idiots!”
Nye yelled, “Grow the f*** up! You’re not children anymore! I didn’t mind explaining photosynthesis to you when you were 12, but you’re adults now, and this is an actual crisis! Got it?!” Removing his glasses, he snapped, “Safety glasses off, motherf*****s!”
Nye made a vain attempt to blow out the burning globe, then walked offscreen.
As noted by National Review’s Ian Tuttle:
William Sanford Nye’s scientific bona fides consists of an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell, and a stint at Boeing. But you can be anything you want on television, and in the late 1980s, hard at work pursuing a career in comedy, Nye landed a recurring bit as Bill Nye “the Science Guy” on Almost Live!, a Seattle-area sketch-comedy television show, and a role as Christopher Lloyd’s laboratory sidekick on Back to the Future: The Animated Series.
Even the founder of The Weather Channel, John Coleman, told Climate Depot, “I have always been amazed that anyone would pay attention to Bill Nye, a pretend scientist in a bow tie. As a man who has studied the science of meteorology for over 60 years and received the AMS (American Meteorological Society’s) ‘Meteorologist of the Year’ award, I am totally offended that Nye gets the press and media attention he does.”
So, we have Bill Nye, a pretend scientist, trying to shame us into believing the world is going to end and it will be all our fault. Well, there are Americans who didn’t find Nye so compelling at all.
“Stop trying to scare folks with outrageous rhetoric. We need to use our resources wisely and take care of nature BUT we could not destroy this planet if we tried. We could kill ourselves …and the planet would live on,” tweeted S. Watson.

“Geez Bill, here in Michigan we have been way below average temps for months. I for one would like a little global warming,” tweeted Twitter user Trish.

“It’s time to realize Bill Nye’s pants are on f*cking fire! HE’S #NOTASCIENTIST. Bill Nye is to a scientist, as Brian Stelter is to a journalist. @scrowder @benshapiro,” tweeted Twitter user “Spazmobot.”

Leave it to HBO to attempt to shame Americans into being duped by some fake science guy. Bill Nye isn’t a real scientist, and climate change is not settled science. There are a good number of real scientists who do not go along with this global warming hypothesis and they chalk up weather patterns to something that are always changing.
Many scientists claim weather is based on the large Pacific Ocean, and these patterns we see have happened in the past. It’s called “Pacific Decadal Oscillation,” and it is settled science. The truth is global warming, now called climate change after the leftists noticed the world wasn’t really getting “warmer,” was an idea by Democratic politicians, like Al Gore, as a way to scam people out of money.
They believed if they could dupe the crazy environmental zealots into believing the world was heating up and the polar ice caps were melting, then they could mandate countries and large corporations to pay for producing carbon dioxide, which they claim causes global warming. Whereas big corporations and first world countries couldn’t afford to stop producing carbon dioxide at their factories, etc, then they would pay a carbon tax.
Now, they are going to make citizens pay carbon taxes. They already do in parts of Canada. “The popularity of carbon taxes on the green left is understandable, if naïve. Imposing a tax on the consumption of anything predictably reduces the quantity of the taxed thing that people are willing to consume. The trouble is that no one knows who will bear the burden of a carbon tax; what economists call tax incidence,” reported The Hill.
This is a leftist ruse. And its time Americans wake up and refuse to be shamed by these scammers. Many are useful idiots who scream about “climate change,” however, the bottom line is behind the curtain are the powerful leftists who think they can get away with taxing us over pretend science and a make-believe environmental disaster.
