Republicans get blamed for a lot of things in the world today, but this might just take the cake. If you’ve ever been bitten by a dog or other animal, CNN seems to think you have a very good reason to blame those on the right side of the political aisle.
There are a lot of things the left and right don’t agree on. One of the biggest issues is climate change, and the left likes to sling a lot of mud against the political right for not buying into it, often blaming Republicans for not caring about out planet.
Liberals say the science is settled on man-made global warming and treat any skepticism as heresy. The problem is, this “settled science” is far from settled or even science, and it begs to be scrutinized. Any mildly intelligent person would question things like a new report on CNN that blames animal bites on global warming.
The liberals supporting the global warming theory expect people to believe that animals only started biting humans around the same time they invented climate change and that is preposterous.
CNN ran an article about how the rate of animals biting humans is on the rise:
Animal-related injuries lead to health care costs of more than $1 billion a year in the United States, according to a new study — and they’re happening more often.
The rate of all animal attack injuries has increased over the past 10 years, according to Dr. Joseph Forrester, one of the authors of the study published Tuesday in the BMJ. He anticipates that it will continue to rise, partially because of climate change. (Emphasis added)
Did you get that? CNN and this guy who calls himself a doctor says global warming is to blame for the rise in animal attacks on humans. And, since Republicans are often blamed for failing to stop climate change, you can believe they are blaming them too.
That’s already a pretty bonkers thing to claim, but it gets even more insane when the definition of “animal attack” is revealed:
The most common cause of injury is bites from non-venomous arthropods, the group that includes spiders, mosquitoes, ticks and centipedes.
Mosquito and spider bites are animal attacks? And, these attacks only recently started happening since the left decided that the planet is getting warmer?
What makes this some of CNN’s patented fake news is that they included with the article an unrelated video about training dogs to make it seem like dog bites are rising dramatically because of global warming. That’s CNN’s “journalism” for you.
Making this even faker news and junk science, CNN didn’t link to the study nor did it report any information claiming that animal bites are on the rise. It would be impossible for any study to conclusively show a link between animal bites and global warming, but they should have at least provided some data showing that animal bites are on the rise like they claim.
CNN did link to The Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project, which is where the study got some of their data, but this is not the same thing as the actual study making the claim of a global warming-related animal bite outbreak.
Despite the complete lack of evidence to back up their claim, CNN has come up with a solution to a problem they can’t prove is real. Since they say insects bites are rising because of global warming, the fake news network tells us we should eat insect burgers instead of beef. No, really.
In another article on CNN, they say that beef production is causing global warming and the only way to save the planet is to stop eating meat. Here’s the actual solution they are proposing:
If you’re after a novel way to cut down on beef consumption, this may be it.
Six-legged creatures already supplement the diets of 2 billion people in the world, predominantly in Asia, Africa and Latin America. But the trend is starting to creep into Western cuisine, with some restaurants offering insect-based menus and some mainstream European supermarkets starting to sell edible insect snacks or bug burgers.
Bug Foundation, a startup based in Germany, developed a burger made from mealworms that is now stocked in more than 1,000 supermarkets across Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
This is some of that settled science liberals are always talking about: Cows are causing global warming, which in turns makes insects bite humans more frequently, so eat insects instead of cows to stop global warming and reduce spider bites. Oh, and vote Democrat to stop these scary things from happening.
If liberals want us to take their global warming hysteria seriously, they need to stop insulting our intelligence with cockamamie theories and junk science, then calling those on the right fear-mongers. The issue, however, is that there isn’t anything resembling real science that can prove man-made global warming, so fear-mongering is all they’ve got.
