A new book has come out, allegedly detailing the chaos and drama of the Trump administration. It makes wild claims about what top cabinet members have said about President Donald Trump. However, Defense Secretary James “Mad Dog” Mattis was compelled to speak out, setting the record straight.
Since Donald Trump has entered the White House, numerous books have been written. It’s only been two years; apparently, these authors can write pretty fast about nothing. These “bombshell” books try to reveal the “true” Trump administration. They claim to expose what’s really going on, the things the media is not telling you.
That’s pretty rich. Has there been anything the left-wing media refuses to report on? Since Trump entered office, the mainstream media has reported on every rumor, lie, and conspiracy about his administration.
So-called leakers have made ridiculous claims about the president, claims that contradict everything we know about the man. Naturally, these claims all come from “anonymous sources” so they can never be verified.
But the fake news media still reports on them as if they were fact.
That is the same for several books that have been released since Inauguration Day. Democrats are quick to jump on these books, pushing them as the reason we should not support Donald Trump. But time and again, the wild stories these books detail cannot be backed with fact.
This week, yet another false book has been released. This time, the author quotes none other than Secretary of Defense James Mattis. The book claims Mattis said numerous things that imply he doesn’t respect or trust the president.
The claims were so wild, that Mattis — an apolitical figure who stays out of controversy — was forced to issue a statement.
Defense Secretary James Mattis fired back on Tuesday, shooting down the alleged statements attributed to him in Bob Woodward’s new book about the Trump White House.
“We’re doing this in order to prevent World War III,” an “exasperated” Mattis supposedly told the president when asked why the United States was spending money to keep a presence in South Korea, according to an excerpt from “Fear,” published Tuesday by The Washington Post.
After that meeting, Woodward writes, “Mattis was particularly exasperated and alarmed, telling close associates that the president acted like — and had the understanding of — ‘a fifth- or sixth-grader.’”
Woodward also wrote that Mattis said, “No, Mr. President, I think you’ve got it reversed,” after President Trump allegedly called the late Senator John McCain a coward. [Source: Daily Caller]
Anyone that’s been following the Trump White House (reading real news) or at least has read up on Mattis knows this book’s claims are utter garbage. Mattis has the utmost respect for the president. According to his own accounts, he has strategized with Trump on numerous occasions.
Trump has delegated significant authority to Mattis and his generals. There is no reason why Mattis, or anyone else in the military, would worry about the president’s involvement.
The excerpts, however, continue the left’s bogus lies that our president is a short-tempered, ignorant man. They want Americans to believe they’ve elected an idiot. An idiot, apparently, who can run a billion-dollar business for over forty years and win the presidency. Show me an idiot who can do that.
For all the drama and controversy that the left-wing media has stirred up over the last two years, Mattis has stayed out of it. His job has little to do with politics. It has everything to do with ensuring our military is as lethal and effective as possible. For him to issue a statement over a book is pretty significant.
In his trademark, no-nonsense style, he torches Woodward’s fantasy.
Those and other statements attributed to Mattis were strongly denied by the defense secretary in a statement released Tuesday.
“The contemptuous words about the President attributed to me in Woodward’s book were never uttered by me or in my presence,” Mattis said in a statement. “While I generally enjoy reading fiction, this is a uniquely Washington brand of literature, and his anonymous sources do not lend credibility.” [Source: Daily Caller]
Mattis’ dry wit and plain speech are enough to decimate this fake journalist’s wild claims. President Trump posted Mattis’ full statement online, for all to read.

Defence Secretary Mattis makes it very clear that the stories’ in Woodward’s book are entirely false. He reasserts his loyalty to President Trump and the office of the President. Not only that, but he outlines the tremendous successes the White House and U.S. Armed Forces have achieved in just two years.
You have to take a step back and realize something. Mattis’ words cast a healthy splash of cold water on the story. Why does the leader of our Armed Forces have to take time out of his day to confront the lies in a so-called nonfiction book? This is a man tasked with keeping all Americans safe. But, thanks to our pathetic, ugly, dishonest, and despicable media, he has to take the time to quell wildly invented stories about himself?
How far will the left go in slandering our leaders? They have proven to be downright un-American, toxic, and even dangerous in their pursuit of making Trump look bad. When will it end? And when will the vast majority of Americans reject their toxic lies?
