Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) is leading the charge “to do the right thing” when the electors meet on Capitol Hill on January 6. Brooks appeared on Fox Business’ “Lou Dobbs Tonight” to outline the steps he will be taking, claiming: “Trump won the Electoral College. I can either sit back and surrender and be a part of the surrender caucus, or I can fight for our country.” Well, that caused the Democrats to freak out. Don’t miss this.
Monday during an appearance on “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) vowed not to go down without a fight. Electors certified their states for Joe Biden on December 14.
However, GOP electors also certified the election for President Donald Trump in Pennslyvania, Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, New Mexico, Wisconsin, and Nevada.
“By casting conditional votes for Trump, the GOP electors have set up an epic showdown in a joint session of Congress next month when lawmakers convene to count the electoral votes and officially declare the winner,” American Greatness reports.
Brooks told host Lou Dobbs about this effort to challenge the Electoral College, which has happened as recently as 2017 after Donald Trump won the presidential election.
“Well, it’s happened many times in the past,” Brooks said. “Apparently, some folks have not done their history. By way of example, the Democrats in the House tried it in 2017 when they tried to strike Alabama’s votes for Donald Trump. Georgia, the same way, the House Democrats tried to strike it. Barbara Boxer tried to strike Ohio for George Bush back in 2005, so this is not unusual.”
“The law is very clear,” Brooks added. “The House of Representatives in combination with the United States Senate has the lawful authority to accept or reject Electoral College vote submissions from states that have such flawed election systems that they’re not worthy of our trust.”
“And in this instance, with what has happened nationally, I’m quite confident that if we only counted lawful votes cast by eligible American citizens, Donald Trump won the Electoral College, and we should not be counting illegal votes and putting in an illegitimate President of the United States,” he continued.
The Alabama congressman also pledged not to be a part of what he deemed the “surrender caucus” with the GOP, adding that he needs a U.S. Senator to join his challenge to the Electoral College for it to be successful.
“Well, where we’re headed as a country is this, quite simply, we’re a Republic, and the bedrock of a Republic is an honest and accurate voting system,” Brooks explained. “And if you don’t have an honest and accurate voting system, then you may as well throw out the claim that you’re a Republic.”
“You’ve lost that right,” Brooks stated. “You’ve lost the control of your government, and under those circumstances, those who can steal the most votes, who can engage in the most voter fraud and get away with it are going to be the ones that rule the roost in Washington, D.C. That’s not what our Founding Fathers wanted. That’s not what a million or so Americans who have lost their lives in wars wanted, giving us this Republic, this democracy where we could control our own fate and our own destiny.”
Brooks outlines how he will be standing in the gap for liberty and freedom.
“So I have a choice, I can either sit back and surrender and be a part of the surrender caucus, or I can fight for our country,” Brooks declared. “And that’s what I’m going to do. So on January 6, I’m going to object to the submissions of Electoral College votes from various states that, in my judgment, have such flawed election systems that their vote counts are unworthy of our ratification in the United States Congress.”
“What I need is a United States Senator who will join me,” Brooks claimed. “If we have a House member and a senator, then by golly, that forces a House vote and a floor vote on whether to accept this systematically flawed election system or to reject it. I want to reject it so that we can have an honest and fair and accurate election.”
Rep. Eric Swalwell, who has been disgraced over accusations he was involved with a Chinese spy named Christine Fang, was one of the Democrats who immediately sounded off over Mo Brooks’ actions.
“I’m sure @realDonaldTrump is comforted that even though he’s lost Putin and #MoscowMitch, he can still count on Mo Brooks…” the California Democrat posted.

Tom Fitton, who is the founder of Judicial Watch, weighed in: “LEADERSHIP? Who will be first US Senator to join @RepMoBrooks in objecting to Electoral College votes from compromised elections? Call and ask your Senators what their position is on the compromised elections in PA, MI, GA, WI, AZ, NV. 202-224-3121. @realDonaldTrump.”

According to the U.S. Code, when the House and Senate meet, they have to look into “all the certificates and papers purporting to be certificates of the electoral votes.” Several Republican members of Congress have said they would attempt to object to the counting of the Electoral College votes for a state, which would then trigger a series of debates and votes.
White House adviser Stephen Miller told Fox News on December 14 that alternate groups of electors were being chosen in several states, claiming that it would lead to Trump’s reelection.
“The only date in the Constitution is Jan. 20. So we have more than enough time to right the wrong of this fraudulent election result and certify Donald Trump as the winner of the election,” Miller said on “Fox & Friends,” referring to Inauguration Day.
So, it’s not over yet. Now, we must pray that we have other GOP congressmen join Mo Brooks to challenge certifying the 2020 election for Joe Biden. Those who remember that they are there to represent We the People will know exactly what they must do on January 6.
Ignore the mainstream media who continue to gaslight Americans claiming Joe Biden is the president-elect. January 20 is inauguration day, and that’s the only deadline that truly matters thanks to our Founding Fathers who knew we would face a corrupt election at some point in our history as a nation.
