Bruce Springsteen decided to trash President Donald Trump and insult working class Americans. Instead of just sticking to entertainment, Springsteen decided to give everyone a piece of his mind. Then, he took it a step further and offered a prediction for the future of America. Now, people are upset.
Bruce Springsteen says nobody can beat Donald Trump in 2020. This will no doubt cause a river of liberal tears because The Boss is essentially the soundtrack for the “Resistance.”
The reason Springsteen is predicting Trump’s reelection makes this already funny statement truly hilarious. According to him, Democrats simply can’t or won’t relate to working-class voters and will never win the “fly-over” states needed to become president.
Springsteen did an interview with The Sunday Times that is sure to push fragile liberals to the breaking point. When asked to handicap the 2020 race, he made the left reach for the Xanax.
“I don’t see anyone out there at the moment… the man who can beat Trump, or the woman who can beat Trump,” said Springsteen.
Springsteen then took a shot at all of the Democrats who are expected to run against Trump in the next election for being out of touch with working-class Americans.
“You need someone who can speak the same language as Trump,” said Springsteen, adding that no Democrats stand out as the “obvious candidate.”
What? Rich elitists “Crazy” Joe Biden, “Crooked” Hillary Clinton, “Spartacus” Cory Booker, and “Creepy Porn Lawyer” Michael Avenatti don’t appeal to people who care about jobs and the economy?
The doomsday for liberals prediction carries a lot of weight considering how much Bruce Springsteen hates Donald Trump. It’s not like the Boss is out their playing Trump rallies in a MAGA hat, he’s a bonafide leader of the Resistance. A few days before this interview, Springsteen had a chat with Esquire and absolutely ripped into the President.
Springsteen said that people are “under siege” and “existentially threatened” by Trump.
“I would be talking about our president. Probably number one. [He] has no interest in uniting the country, really, and actually has an interest in doing the opposite and dividing us, which he does on an almost daily basis. So that’s simply a crime against humanity, as far as I’m concerned,” said Springsteen.
“It’s an awful, awful message to send out into the world if you’re in that job and in that position. It’s just an ugly, awful message. You are intentionally trying to disenfranchise a large portion of Americans. I mean, you are simply . . . that’s unforgivable,” Springsteen said.
After calling Trump’s style “toxic,” Springsteen said, “It’s a scary moment for any conscientious American.”
“Conscientious Americans” are what liberals consider themselves because of their smug sense of intellectual and moral superiority.
In the Esquire interview, Springsteen foreshadowed his sentiment that no Democrat can beat Trump in 2020 by saying he doesn’t “see a unifying figure on the horizon.” He did, however, cement his status as a liberal elitist by suggesting that Trump supporters and the working class of Middle America are raging racists who will never vote for a Democrat.
“I think that a lot of what’s going on has been a large group of people frightened by the changing face of the nation. There seems to be an awful lot of fear,” Springsteen said.
In the lead-up to the 2016 election, polls and pundits said Hillary Clinton was going to win in a landslide. Only leftist documentarian Michael Moore was sounding the alarm that Trump was going to win. Now after the midterms that saw Democrats retake control of the House of Representatives, those same polls and pundits are saying Trump will lose in 2020, but Bruce Springsteen sees it differently.
The best thing Trump has going for him is that the Democrats never learn from their mistakes. In 2020, they will put up another rotten unelectable candidate who can’t relate to average Americans. The liberal media will swoon over this candidate, and Democrats will go into Election Day confident that they will take the White House. Just like 2016, the day after the election will be a dark one for Democrats and there will be 4 more years of intense Trump Derangement Syndrome, with Bruce Springsteen looking like a South Jersey Nostradamus.
