President Donald Trump has responded to individuals who have been trying to use the bathroom of their choice at schools, where vulnerable children are at risk. The president has essentially said “F-You” to the liberals who would like to allow grown men to use the toilet alongside little girls. Now, Caitlyn Jenner is furious.
Caitlyn Jenner, a Republican who has supported President Donald Trump in the past, will not be happy to hear that he is standing up for the rights of the majority instead of the feelings of a few.
After speculation regarding the Trump administration’s official policy on transgender students using the restroom, a White House spokeswoman has indicated that the U.S. Department of Education will not investigate any complaints regarding transgender restroom policies.
In other words, the federal government, under President Donald Trump’s leadership, does not consider it discriminatory for schools to require students to use the bathroom associated with their God-given gender.
Spokeswoman Liz Hill said that the DOE will continue investigating sex-based stereotypes and sex discrimination against transgender individuals, but will not devote resources to the slew of transgender bathroom cases. “Long-standing regulations provide that separating facilities on the basis of sex is not a form of discrimination prohibited by Title IX,” said Hill.
Indeed, it was never considered “discriminatory” to require that biological females use the girls’ bathroom and biological males use the boys’ bathroom before the Obama administration took over.
The DOE’s announcement comes after the Trump administration revoked a vague Obama administration order that forced taxpayer-funded schools to allow transgender students to use the bathroom and locker room of their choice. “This is a states’ rights issue and not one for the federal government,” then-White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters last February.
Of course, the usual social justice warriors are up in arms over the DOE’s announcement.
“Until now, the official position of the [Department of Edication] has been that Title IX protects all students and that they were evaluating how that protection applies to the issue of bathroom access,” said Catherine Lhamon, chairwoman of the United States Commission on Civil Rights.
“This new categorical bar of civil rights protection for transgender children required to attend schools every day ignores the text of the law, courts’ interpretation of the law, the stated position of the Department to date, and human decency,” she added dramatically.
“That interpretation represents an appalling abdication of federal enforcement responsibility, inconsistent with the law and with courts’ interpretation of the law, and totally lacking in human compassion for children in school, whom the Department is charged to protect,” continued Lhamon.
Apparently, Lhamon thinks that it’s “decent” to allow boys to enter facilities where girls use the restroom and change their clothes. She has apparently given no thought to the privacy of these young girls, who could easily be preyed upon by opportunistic young boys during a time in their development when most have sex on the brain.
Curious young men wanting to take a peek at girls might decide they feel feminine at any given moment just to enter a facility with half-naked young women. Obviously, this is an unfair breach of privacy when the vast majority of the population identifies with their God-given gender.
Thankfully, the Trump administration has placed the safety and well-being of the majority of American school kids above the feelings of a few children who are experiencing a period of mental confusion surrounding their gender.
