The Associated Student Body at a high school in Communist California has decided to ban the “racist” national anthem at school rallies. Now, they’re getting a brutal surprise they didn’t expect.
California is in the news again and, as usual, not for a good reason. The Associated Student Body at California High School has decided to ban our national anthem at school pep rallies because they claim the third and often forgotten verse of the song is “racist.”
The decision went viral on social media pretty fast, and now, the liberal degenerates are getting a brutal response they probably didn’t count on. According to The Washington Times, students at San Ramon’s California High, a San Francisco East Bay Area high school, decided that the national anthem is unfit for their learning environment. The little lefties claim that the national anthem is racist and outdated and have banned it from all school rallies.
According to Fox News, the students are basing their decision on the rarely-played third verse. “It was brought to our attention that the national anthem’s third verse is outdated and racially offensive,” Ariyana Kermanizadeh wrote in an open letter. “We had nothing but good intentions by removing the song so that we could be fully inclusive to our student body.”
What kind of liberal asshats are running this high school? Where is the leadership or guidance to mold and shape these young minds? It’s completely absent, evidently. Kermanizadeh said the decision was made when students learned about the third verse, which includes the line “No refuge could save the hireling and slave / From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave.”
The Associated Student Body said that their decision will stay in effect for the rest of the school year. Kermanizadeh emphasized that even though the third verse is practically never played and very few Americans even know the lyrics, it doesn’t matter. She said the entire song is tainted.
“We understand that this third verse is not included when the anthem is performed, but still, what does this tell us?” she said. Kermanizadeh also said, “This song was written in 1814. That was written 204 years ago. Imagine all the traditions and laws that have changed … and so must our traditions.”
Another student at the California high school named Amir Udler, who heard about the decision, said, “It comes from a very disrespectful place.” Udler added that the Associated Student Body’s decision “is disenfranchising the vast majority of the school who loves the country.”
Not long after the news of their decision hit social media, the lefty students at the school received a barrage of responses from angry Americans on Twitter.
Conservative Nick Short posted the following reaction on his Twitter page: “San Ramon high school in California pulls national anthem from rallies. Student leadership at school had the natl anthem removed because of what they considered ‘racist lyrics in the unsung verses.’ I assume the school will also be removing the flag too.”

In response to Short’s tweet, one Twitter user named “Stannim” said, “Schools could actually solve these issues by educating the students & limiting the influence of parents that are foreign agents to just their own offspring. It’s a quite straightforward poem, even for teenagers that follow the Iranian Foreign Minister on social media.”

Another angry person named Kim said, “That’s not leadership. No one even knew about the third verse until someone took the opportunity to ‘use’ it to cause division! We can’t go back in time & make every participant in American history a perfect person. NO ONE IS. We shouldn’t ERASE HISTORY based on today’s values.”

Tami Hawkins responded with a brutal question for the school’s leadership. “Did the students pull Math and Science, too, since they’re running the school now?” she asked.
Did the students pull Math and Science, too, since they’re running the school now?

Tami is absolutely right. Are the students deciding what stays and what goes now at that school? It seems that whatever little influence is present at this California high school is leading students down the wrong path.
I think most people can agree that it’s time for a complete overhaul of our failing public education system. Our traditions and identity as Americans should not be thrown out because some group of liberal hacks is easily offended.
