What about the 50,000+ citizens who live on the streets? If my state can’t take its own, how can it take care of more?” asked Cher, scared the border crisis might spill into areas near her home. Cher, who is a rabid Trump-hater, finally had to admit this border crisis would affect Los Angeles where the 72-year-old makes her home. Except she missed the big picture. The music icon said she failed to understand how the city of Los Angeles in the sanctuary state of California could afford to admit and take care of any more immigrants when city officials have failed to care for homeless, veterans, and poverty-stricken Americans.

Doesn’t Cher understand that she lives in a sanctuary state? Doesn’t she understand by supporting open borders, this is the consequence? Cher spent most of the weekend freaking out about the migrants coming to LA. And that’s when Sarah Sanders cemented her fears were in reality.
“Sunday on ABC’s This Week, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said potentially transferring undocumented immigrants to sanctuary cities was an ‘option on the table,'” Breitbart reported.
“This is an option on the table,” Sanders began. “I mean, we talked about a number of different things over the last two years that we’d love to see happen. Certainly, it isn’t our first choice. Ideally, we wouldn’t have been dealing with the massive influx of illegal immigrants coming across the border…if Democrats would step up and help the penalty fix the laws.”
Exactly, the Democrats could solve this crisis in a weekend. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer think the border is a political football, and they really believe they are scoring points against the president by prolonging it. Nothing could be further from the truth.
“The president likes the idea [busing migrants to sanctuary cities] and Democrats have said they want these individuals in their communities,” Sarah said. “The ideal solution is real simple for Congress particularly Democrats in Congress to sit down with the president, do their jobs and help us stop this awful crisis that’s taking place at our border.”
Well, Cher got hammered by Americans over her remarks. “So you say you want them [illegals] but just not in your backyard. It is as it should be, if you want them, take them, those who don’t shouldn’t have to take them but have been forced to for years. Now, you have some idea of how it feels to be powerless against the federal government,” tweeted Laura Hollis-Wood.

“Exactly Cher. That’s what us Trump supporters have been saying for decades. It’s not that difficult to comprehend. Legal immigration OK. Illegal immigration – not OK. Libs need to stop lecturing us about compassion and focus on economic realities,” tweeted Lyle Haines.

President Donald Trump even weighed in on Cher’s tweet, indicating that he finally agreed with her on something.

Trump threatened to bus illegal aliens to the sanctuary cities on Friday, saying, “They say they would take them, no problem.” In response, Democrat mayors across the country — like New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Oakland, California Mayor Libby Schaaf — have welcomed bringing illegal aliens and border crossers to their cities. And this may have been what set Cher off.
As the city remains crippled by homelessness and skyrocketing housing costs, Los Angeles metro area is also home to the second largest illegal alien population — with nearly a million illegal aliens living in the region, according to Pew Research Center.
After one Twitter user pointed out Cher was seeing the light and echoing Trump supporters, the Oscar winner tried to explain migrants “must go through a process, see a judge, and be properly interviewed.” Once again, Trump supporters pointed out she is in line with the president. Cher just didn’t get it. Or she didn’t want to admit it, fearful she would be branded a traitor by the rabid Hollywood crowd.
