Chief Justice Shuts Down Question On Schiff & Whistleblower, Americans Torch Him

Chief Justice John Roberts wrongly shut down a legitimate question during the Senate trial on Wednesday. Legal scholars were shocked when Roberts flat out refused to allow Rand Paul’s question on the whistleblower and Adam Schiff. That’s when Americans torched John Roberts for denying President Donald Trump his Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser at a trial where he is the defendant. Don’t miss this.

Supreme Court Justice John Roberts on Wednesday blocked an attempt by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) to pose questions regarding the so-called “whistleblower” — the individual who sparked the House Democrats’ partisan impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump — according to reports.

Politico and The Hill state Roberts indicated he would oppose reading Paul’s questions, as it is believed he would be forced to name or provide identifying information on the alleged individual.

Speaking to reporters following a Republican dinner, Paul signaled he may still fight to have his question read. “It’s still an ongoing process; it may happen tomorrow,” he told reporters.

Roberts has not offered any legal argument for hiding the individual’s identity. As Breitbart News has repeatedly explained, the only statutory protection for people who submit whistleblower complaints is that the intelligence community inspector general (ICIG) cannot name him or her publicly:

Even left-wing mainstream media outlets—CNN, the New York Times, National Public Radio (NPR), and Reuters — determined that, certainly, no law prohibits President Donald Trump or members of Congress from disclosing the name of the leaker who sparked the impeachment inquiry.

Further, Breitbart’s Senior Editor-at-Large Joel Pollak has written President Trump has a right under the Sixth Amendment to confront his accuser at a trial where he is the defendant. He explains: “even if the Chief Justice were to rule that it does not, the Senate can overrule him. If the president wants to call the whistleblower to testify, he will likely have to do so.”

This is a big deal. If the whistleblower’s identity comes out in the trial, then legally it’s open season on Adam Schiff.

Schiff could be questioned by Senators about his connections with the whistleblower he has denied thus far. However, he can’t deny the connections if the real name comes out which everyone already knows. This has been the reason why he has been adamant to keep the bogus whistleblower anonymous.

Why Justice Roberts would help Schiff and the whistleblower is mind-boggling, and Americans were livid.

“When the Chief Justice, the highest Judge in America, denies the President of the United States, the right to face his accuser, WE HAVE A ‘COUP’!” tweeted “NorskyMAGAMan.”

“What in the world does the deep state have holding over Bush’s John Roberts??? Chief Justice John Roberts Shuts Down Rand Paul’s Question on Alleged ‘Whistleblower,'” tweeted “I Tiptonius.”

THIS is going to get HOT today. America is with you, @RandPaul Chief Justice John Roberts Shuts Down Rand Paul’s Question on Alleged ‘Whistleblower’” tweeted Rumson RightOn.

He can’t do that! Whistleblowers are only protected from retaliation in the workplace! This does not apply here & we deserve to know the truth! Out the whistleblower! Thank you @RandPaul! @senatemajldr Americans want to know!” tweeted Marie Tackett.

“Why? Whistleblowers are not protected from anonymity but from retaliation at work. Was Eric C. a sacrificial offering for the Democrats…the real whistleblower is Schiff, Brennon, Pelosi, Nadler, Waters and other Democrats?” tweeted Deborah Divine.

Later, Senator Ted Cruz, along with Sens. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Jerry Moran (R-KS), asked if House Intelligence Committee Chairman and Lead Impeachment Manager Adam Schiff knew whether the alleged whistleblower worked “at any point for or with” former Vice President Joe Biden.

When it was Schiff’s turn to address the upper chamber, he claimed to not know who the “whistleblower” is or to have ever communication with him.

“I don’t know who the whistleblower is, I haven’t met them or communicated with them in any way,” he said. We all know Schiff is playing a game here hoping time will run out and his lies won’t be exposed.

It would be “game over” if the GOP Senators could unmask the whistleblower legally and then prove how Adam Schiff was the main instigator of this entire sham impeachment all along.
