Enjoy.)With each passing day, the political factions within Washington, D.C., are becoming more polarized over whether to fund a border wall. Politicians from both sides have locked horns, resulting in a government shutdown. On Tuesday night, President Donald Trump gave a speech to Americans, delivering alarming statistics about crime and drugs pouring in through our unprotected borders. Now, the Associated Press, who many Americans consider to be the most reliable source of news, is chiming in, exposing who is really to blame for the government shutdown.
The rhetoric on the left is becoming unconscionable at this point, where Nancy Pelosi is pinning all the blame on President Trump for the woes in Washington, D.C. Her latest ridiculous lie is that the President is actually “manufacturing” a crisis at the border in order to get his way.
But, much to her dismay, the AP pointed out that it “takes two to tango,” destroying Democrats’ claims that the government shutdown is completely Trump’s fault.
The AP even tweeted out a golden nugget earlier, and it’s sure to ignite fury among the liberal snowflakes:

Before delivering their tweet, the AP first pointed out Pelosi’s rebuttal remarks, where she stated that Trump had “chosen to hold hostage critical services for the health, safety, and well-being of the American people and withhold the paychecks of 800,000 innocent workers across the nation – many of them veterans.”
The news agency also shared Sen. Schumer’s statements, where the senator lambasted Trump for shutting down the government, saying that Trump had failed to get Mexico to pay for the wall or to convince Congress or the American people to foot the bill.
After considering their arguments against Trump, however, the AP concluded that the budget impasse was partly due to the Democrats’ refusal to approve the money. “Trump’s demand for $5.7 billion for his border wall is one reason for the budget impasse. The Democrats refusal to approve the money is another,” the AP boldly pointed out, placing blame on both sides.
However, one side is standing firm for what’s best for our country as a whole while the other is only looking out for themselves. It’s truly un-American for Democrats to play with the lives of U.S. citizens, all because they want to protect the future votes from their precious illegals, whose numbers can help ensure they stay in power.
In Trump’s speech on Tuesday night, the President brought to light the drug epidemic plaguing our country, which has crippled many areas of the United States, all due to illegal drugs pouring through our open borders. It’s become such a dire situation that 300 Americans are killed by heroin alone every single week. But, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Indeed, drug overdoses in 2017 killed an unprecedented 72,287 U.S. residents, nearly three times the number of individuals killed by global terrorism. Nearly 50,000 of those deadly overdoses were caused by either heroin or fentanyl. [Source: Breitbart]
But drugs aren’t the only problems pouring across our porous border. Breitbart released additional statistics involving crimes perpetrated by illegals, and the numbers were nothing short of alarming. ICE agents arrested more than 6,600 convicted murderers and convicted sex offenders who were in the United States illegally in the last year alone.
Of that total, 4,975 of the illegal aliens arrested were convicted sex offenders. The other 1,641 illegal aliens had been convicted of homicide. Another 1,913 illegal aliens that were arrested by ICE had pending sex offense charges against them, while 387 illegal aliens had pending murder charges against them. [Source: Breitbart]
Breitbart went on to report, “For each one of these crimes, there are at least one or more American and legal immigrant victims.”
It’s high time that our elected officials stop playing politics with the lives of Americans and put aside their political differences for the safety of our country. When you have 300 Americans in a week overdosing on heroin coming from Mexico, that alone should be considered a national emergency.
Did you know that more Americans will die from drugs this year than were killed during the entire Vietnam War? That’s three times the number of people killed in terror attacks, from all the countries around the world combined. Anyone who says the border crisis is “manufactured” isn’t paying attention.
