Ivanka Trump recently voiced her opinion on her father’s actions in Syria, and of course, the liberal media wasted no time taking shots at her. However, when Jake Tapper of CNN tried to embarrass Ivanka, he regretted it within seconds.
After ordering a Tomahawk missile strike on Syria following a grossly inhumane chemical attack, President Donald Trump said that he was shocked at what Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad had done to “helpless men, women, children,” and “beautiful babies.” According to Breitbart, some sources credit Ivanka Trump for convincing her father to take action against Syria following the attack.
“She often counsels her father and was very clear that action needed to be taken against Assad in some form,” a source reportedly told the Daily Express. “Ivanka was infuriated over the lack of a direct response in the immediate aftermath of the Syrian attack.”
The outlet suggests that Ivanka Trump’s tweets about being “heartbroken and outraged” over Assad’s chemical weapon attack contributed to the public pressure that led to President Trump’s complete policy shift:
Heartbroken and outraged by the images coming out of Syria following the atrocious chemical attack yesterday.

After President Donald Trump took action against Syria, Ivanka sent out a tweet to praise her father. Naturally, the liberal media could not resist the chance to try to embarrass her, with CNN’s Jake Tapper leading the charge.
@IvankaTrump How do you feel about his proposed ban on Syrian refugees from entering the US? Do you see any disconnect there at all? Thanks

Ivanka Trump did not immediately respond, but Cate Long, a Reuters contributor, quickly and accurately described Tapper’s statement. Almost immediately, a firestorm ensued:
@jaketapper @IvankaTrump hey Mr. Tapper. There is a clear dividing line between news reporter and internet troll. And you just crossed.

@cate_long @IvankaTrump No, it's a sincere question to a senior WH adviser on Twitter. I'd love to ask her in an interview of course.
— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) April 7, 2017
@jaketapper @IvankaTrump and it's been stated multiple times that there is no method to vet Syrians since intracountry systems are under Assad's control.

@cate_long @IvankaTrump Not sure why your concern is more for one of the most powerful people in the world than for the most vulnerable but have a great weekend.
— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) April 7, 2017
Onlookers were quick to point out flaws in Tapper’s liberal logic:
@jaketapper @cate_long @IvankaTrump Every anchor for accepting refugees should sponsor one & open his or her home. Media only seems to ask questions but never takes an action.

@jaketapper @cate_long @IvankaTrump Her concern is for ordinary Americans who could be victims of jihadists entering US under the guise of being innocent refugees.

Liberals cannot form a consistent argument on the Syria issue or the refugee issue. In fact, as Fox News reports, Hillary Clinton called for action against Syria’s Assad just hours before Donald Trump’s missile strike:
“I really believe we should have and still should take out his air fields and prevent him from being able to use them to bomb innocent people and drop sarin gas on them,” Clinton made the comment during an interview with New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof at a women’s summit.
Ivanka Trump had it right from the beginning. Difficult times call for difficult decisions, and even liberals like Hillary Clinton know it.
Jake Tapper and his associates in the liberal media are still reeling from Donald Trump’s defeat of their corrupt, liberal goddess, Hillary Clinton. They simply try too hard to embarrass the Trumps at every opportunity, but it always ends in epic failure. If Tapper continues his petty reporting habits, he may just follow Hillary into retirement.
