CNN producers approached San Diego’s KUSI, an established local station, who recommended their seasoned journalist Dan Plante, who has covered the border crisis for years. After hearing the truth about the wall, CNN, who had Jim Acosta at the border, shocked the San Diego news station. Now, those reporters are blowing the whistle. Don’t miss this.
CNN made a name for themselves back in 1990-91 during the Iraqi War. Back then, cable news was in its infancy and CNN reporters were the trailblazers, bringing Americans news 24/7. Now, they have descended into the pit of lies and misinformation. This isn’t anything new. But, it is something leftists refuse to acknowledge.
And, it’s not every day another news station blows the whistle on the network whose slogan is “Facts First.” But, that’s exactly what just happened in San Diego.
“Thursday morning, CNN called the KUSI Newsroom asking if one of our reporters could give them a local view of the debate surrounding the border wall and government shutdown,” the San Diego-based station reported. “KUSI offered our own Dan Plante, who has reported dozens of times on the border, including one story from 2016 that was retweeted by former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, and posted on DrudgeReport.com.”
Plante could school Jim Acosta, CNN’s go-to guy down at the border, about the real crisis facing America due to illegal immigration. Plante has distinguished himself as an unbiased reporter, and he has been in the trenches with the Border Patrol Agents along the Tijuana-San Diego border, which sees violence on a daily basis. But, CNN didn’t like what Plante had to say.
“We believe CNN declined a report from KUSI because we informed them that most Border Patrol Agents we have spoken to told us the barrier does in fact work,” reported Mike McKinnon for KUSI. “We have continuously been told by Border Patrol Agents that the barrier along the Southern border helps prevent illegal entries, drugs, and weapons from entering the United States, and the numbers prove it.”
The independent San Diego-based news station was so upset that CNN was preventing Americans from learning the truth that they made a statement on live TV. “Knowing [KUSI’s favorable reports on the wall], CNN declined to have us on their programs, which often present the wall as not required and other places like the stretch of the Texas border the president visited earlier today. They didn’t like what they heard from us,” said KUSI’s Ann Laurel.

Of course, CNN went into damage control as they feverishly tried to dismiss KUSI blowing the whistle on them, calling it a “non-story.” Replying to KUSI, CNN tweeted, “We called several local stations to book someone for a show. We didn’t end up booking any of them. That happens many times every single day. We did, however, book a reporter from KUSI for a story on immigration and the border wall in November. This is a non story [sic]. #factsfirst.”
Well, Americans weren’t buying CNN’s coverup. Tina Stull responded to CNN, tweeting, “You are acting like you have any credibility. Unfortunately, this is just one more time you avoided presenting the truth on a subject. This local reporter was the best source for an educated opinion.”

Twitter user “Deplorable Marnier” posted, “I just watched this [KUSI] video 4 times. I’m all the way in Maine and I must say that I am completely shocked. I haven’t seen reporters report real news in a long time. Thank you ladies for giving me a slight renewed faith in journalism.”

It’s quite compelling when an independent news network is willing to call out the almighty CNN. This is proof positive that not only is there a real border crisis and walls work, but also that CNN is just a propaganda wing on the Democratic Party. While Trump supporters are well aware of this, that’s not true for all Americans.
That’s why it’s so important we make sure all of our family and friends and anyone we can reach on social media gets this information. We have everything to gain and nothing to lose. This is how we fight back against all the lies the Democrats are peddling to their base with the help of the mainstream media. American lives are at stake and together we can make a difference.
