After spotting a woman in a food court that struck his fancy, a crazy stalker decided to follow her out to her car. However, things would take a turn after the man whipped out a knife, but he wasn’t ready for the woman’s response.
The incident took place at a local shopping mall in Louisville, Kentucky, where John Ganobick followed a woman into an elevator that went down to the parking lot. According to reports, the woman sensed instantly that she was being stalked and started running shortly after the elevator doors opened up.

At that point, Ganobick took chase and eventually caught up to the woman. ABC7 reports that as the woman was getting into her car, the stalker pushed in right behind her before putting his hand over the woman’s mouth. According to Mail Online, “Ganobick slammed her head into an unknown object, told her to ‘give me all your money’, and showed her a knife,” but this is where things took a turn.
Ganobick brandished a knife as he tried to beat and rob the woman, but things didn’t exactly go according to plan. The woman was carrying concealed and decided it would be the perfect opportunity to use the gun she had in her purse.
The creepy man staggered away from the scene after the woman shot him in the neck and butt, resulting in him bleeding profusely. A witness to the event immediately called police when they realized what was actually happening.
Law enforcement officials quickly caught up with Ganobick and have charged him with attempted murder, kidnapping, and criminal mischief. He is expected to recover fully from his wounds and will spend the next several years behind bars where he can contemplate his actions.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – if you’re going to play stupid games, you will win stupid prizes. As for the woman in this case, she’s the prime example as to why the Second Amendment and concealed carry are so important. You never know when danger is lurking around the corner, but when it rears its ugly head, you better be ready.
