David Hogg Potentially Facing 5 Years In Prison For His Latest Attack

David Hogg has a history of making outlandish and insane statements ever since he rose to fame following the school shooting in Parkland, Florida. But he has been more out of his mind recently, culminating with him potentially facing jail time.

It is apparent that the 18-year-old Hogg is starting to realize that his 15 minutes of fame are just about done. He is grasping at any straw he can find to keep the fame he acquired when 17 of his classmates died at the hands of a gunman and David made a beeline for any media he could find in an effort to promote himself.

Hogg portrays himself as an expert, not only on gun control but on every subject that finds its way into the news. From race to policing and, more recently, to supposed Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. If there is a topic being discussed, David fancies himself as America’s voice.

The things this kid is clueless about could fill the Grand Canyon. But what is more pathetic than his own belief that he is an expert is the number of people who follow him and listen to his words as if he is the expert he portrays himself to be.

In a recent tweetstorm, he focused on the ongoing war the Democrats are waging against Republicans by claiming that everything they do, and many of the things they support, are Russian propaganda. “#WalkAway is Russian propaganda #WalkAway is Russian propaganda #WalkAway is Russian propaganda #WalkAway is Russian propaganda #WalkAway is Russian propaganda #WalkAway is Russian propaganda. Remember this November we need to vote against @Russia,” he wrote in a tweet.

“November is the time for the American people to #WalkTogether into the polls not as Democrats or Republicans but as Americans in a war against Russian propaganda and fear spread by organizations like @NRA. Use #WalkTogether to counter this propaganda,” he said in his next tweet on the matter. But #WalkTogether never trended on Twitter.

And then he hit America with another gem. “These Midterms could be the last election of our lifetime. VOTE,” he wrote.

That ridiculous assertion appeared to have come from a Washington Post poll that asked, “If Donald Trump were to say that the 2020 presidential election should be postponed until the country can make sure that only eligible American citizens can vote, would you support or oppose postponing the election?”

Of the Republicans who were polled, “52 percent said that they would support postponing the 2020 election, and 56 percent said they would do so if both Trump and Republicans in Congress were behind this,” The Post wrote.

One could assume that no one took the time to explain to Hogg that an American president cannot postpone an election based on voter fraud, or anything short of martial law. And even that would be tough. Despite what Democrats and this kid think, an American president is not, and cannot, be a dictator.

But Hogg is unhinged. After President Donald Trump sent a tweet to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani that read “To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!” Hogg countered with one of his own.

“To US President Trump: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!” he wrote.

David Hogg is seemingly unaware, or uncaring, that a threat to the President of the United States from a citizen is not the same as a president issuing a warning to another nation. What Hogg wrote could earn him a visit from The Secret Service and more.

It is apparent that no one is offering this kid any guidance or watching what he writes on Twitter. If they are, they are doing a horrid job. Threatening the president is a crime that could result in a prison sentence of five years in accordance with United States Code Title 18, Section 871. Someone should reign this kid in before he destroys himself. He’s not built for prison life.
