De Niro Claims Trump’s Imprisonment Would ‘MAGA’ — Audience Makes Him Regret It

Robert De Niro was honoring Al Pacino at the American Icon Awards on Sunday, but the Trump-hater just couldn’t get through his speech without going off-script to trash the president. De Niro said it may be a good idea if celebrities could rule America, adding Trump “is not worthy of any tribute. Unless you think of his impeachment and imprisonment…that’s how you can ‘Make America Great Again.'” Well, the audience instantly made him regret it.

You know Robert De Niro has gone too far when the celebrity gossip site, TMZ, is reporting his latest Trump bashing “drew mixed reviews.” De Niro was honoring his good friend and fellow actor Al Pacino when he told the audience, “You don’t think you completely were going to get away without a f*cking Trump moment, did you?”

“The producers of the American Icon Awards call it ‘a tribute to individuals who lead America.’ Not so fast,” De Niro said, pointing out his fellow celebrities do not actually lead the United States. “Maybe they should, but they do fill their own essential roles.”

He said the actors and actresses have done things to be honored, but President Trump has not. “On the other hand, the individual who currently purports to lead America is not worthy of any tribute. Unless you think of his impeachment and imprisonment as a sort of tribute. And that’s how you can ‘Make America Great Again,'” De Niro said to a mix of applause and a lot of loud boos.

This time not everyone in attendance agreed with the 75-year-old Trump-hater. In fact, the audience booed the actor who believes he really is the tough mobsters he’s played in films. But that’s not all.

TMZ also reported this was a Beverly Hills crowd who didn’t appreciate his trashing President Trump. “Anyway, as for how the Bev Hills crowd took his Trump pivot … there were actually some boos. As Bob went on and on about DT, the audience seemed a little unsettled,” TMZ added. “Tough room.”

This isn’t the first time the Goodfellas star got backlash from the audience over his anti-Trump rants. Last October, De Niro was headlining the Children’s Diabetes Foundation event when a very drunk De Niro attacked Trump’s choice for the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh. Drunk Bobby actually trashed Kavanaugh for his alleged drunken days in college that proved to be one huge lie.

“Now, one reminder. The drinks, wine, and beer are flowing. But, be careful if you have too much, ahem, you may, you may… end up on the Supreme Court,” Robert De Niro said, seemingly out of nowhere, while slurring his words in a video obtained by TMZ.

The crowd was slow to react. People sat stunned and confused. You see, this wasn’t the Academy Awards or the Grammys, this was the Children’s Diabetes Foundation, and it was evident that drunk Bobby De Niro had overplayed his hand. Living in the Hollywood bubble, De Niro is ignorant, completely lacking any common sense to understand that he often offends millions of Americans with his anti-Trump rants.

“Besides the fact that De Niro butchered the delivery of the line — stumbling over his words — it’s clear he chose the wrong topic to bring up at a ceremony for the Children’s Diabetes Foundation. The reactions to his joke were mixed, some nervously laughing … others booing,” TMZ reported.

It’s starting to look like the beginning of the end for Bobby De Niro’s anti-Trump rants. When the audience in leftist Beverly Hills is groaning, you know the jig is up. And middle-class Americans have been done with De Niro and his Trump Derangement Syndrome a long time ago.

Finally, De Niro found out the hard way that there is a big, big world outside of the Hollywood gutter he dwells in. The majority of Americans are disgusted by the Hollywood crowd using their bully pulpits to browbeat those of us who don’t see the world the way they do.

Their minds are in the gutter, and they spend millions making horrendous films no one goes to see. All patriots need to make sure we re-elect Trump in 2020. We can’t allow Hollywood’s vicious cohorts in the Democratic Party back in power. Not now, or ever again.
