Democratic Operative Assaults GOP Campaign Manager

The Democratic Party seems to be getting more and more unhinged by the day. Case in point: The liberal operative who assaulted a GOP campaign manager in Nevada this week. What’s perhaps even more disturbing than this senseless attack, however, is the attacker’s employer.

Democratic operative Wilfred Michael Stark III has been arrested after physically assaulting 31-year-old Kristin Davison, who is the campaign manager for Nevada GOP gubernatorial nominee Adam Laxalt. Stark was taken to Las Vegas city jail after he allegedly forced his way into a private room despite two male staffers trying to hold him back. The confrontation left Davison with bruises on her neck and arms.

“Politics is a little bit aggressive these days, but this is just insane,” Davison said. “I’ve never seen anything like it.” She recalled that Stark “burst into the room where [Laxalt] and I were talking with a camera” and got “very physical” with her.

“This man was physically almost body-checking me,” Davison said. “I was getting nervous for my safety, so we left, and went into an open room.” But Stark tried to follow her, Laxalt, and other staffers into the second room. “He grabbed my right arm, my leg was lodged between the door and the wall. He twisted my arm, and contorted it behind my back,” Davison explained. “I was scared. Every time I tried pulling away, he would grab tighter, and pull me closer into him.”

Stark, nearly 20 years Davison’s senior, was working for American Bridge 21st Century, a group that Fox News reports was “founded by David Brock and funded by liberal billionaire George Soros”:

American Bridge was founded in November 2010 by David Brock, who also founded liberal watchdog group Media Matters. The group’s largest donor is liberal billionaire George Soros, who contributed more than $2 million between 2015 and 2016. Soros is still involved with the group, most recently donating $300,000 in February, and $80,000 last year.

American Bridge 21st Century announced Wednesday night that they had fired Stark after the incident. The group issued a statement indicating the aggressor had been relieved of his duties “effective immediately.”

American Bridge 21st Century did the right thing by firing Stark. You cannot employ people who go around assaulting others; that’s a liability, plain and simple. But the suspect’s brazen attack certainly speaks to a violent shift in the Democratic Party inspired by the rhetoric of leaders like Maxine Waters, Hillary Clinton, and Eric Holder.

For example, Clinton said “civility can start again” only when the Democrats are back in power. “You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” she said in an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour. “That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.”

Senator Mazie Hirono also championed violent confrontations. PJ Media reports, “CNN’s Dana Bash asked Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) whether or not it is acceptable to harass Republican officials in restaurants or in their own homes. Hirono defended the sentiment behind such harassment, and, when pressed about it, cried ‘white supremacy!’ to avoid condemning rabid protesters.”

And during an appearance in Georgia, Barack Obama’s former Attorney General Eric Holder told activists that they should physically assault Republicans and Trump supporters. “They have used the power that they have gotten for all the wrong things,” said Holder. “They want to keep themselves in power. They want to cater to the special interests. It is time for us as Democrats to be as tough as they are, to be as dedicated as they are, to be as committed as they are.”

“Michelle always says — Michelle Obama, I love her, you know, she and my wife are like really tight, which always scares me and Barack, but Michelle always says, you know, when they go low, we go high,” Holder went on. “No. No. When they go low, we kick them.”

With top Democrats calling on their minions to be uncivil and “kick” their Republican counterparts, is it really any wonder that we now have Democratic operatives assaulting members of the GOP? I think not. Be sure to share this with your friends so they can be informed before they vote in the midterms.
