Democrats Have Bikini Blast During Gov. Shutdown, Trump Makes Them Regret It

We just reached the 3-week mark of the government shutdown, and the rhetoric from the left is becoming increasingly ridiculous. Liberals are blasting President Donald Trump over the impasse while pushing the narrative that he doesn’t care about Americans. But unfortunately for these lying fools, what they were just caught doing in Puerto Rico is raising quite a lot of eyebrows, and Trump was sure to make them regret it. Don’t miss this.

Over the weekend, Washington, DC got hammered with a blanket of snow while the longest government shutdown in US history is still unfolding. But many Democrats were completely undeterred by the ongoing problems, as many of them made their way to the warm beaches of Puerto Rico, while our President still grinds away in his office doing his actual job.

Some 30 Democratic lawmakers left the government shutdown behind Friday on a chartered flight to Puerto Rico for a winter retreat with 109 lobbyists and corporate executives during which they planned to see the hit Broadway show “Hamilton” and attend three parties including one with the show’s cast.

Those attending the Congressional Hispanic Caucus BOLD PAC winter retreat in San Juan planned to meet with key officials to discuss the cleanup after Hurricane Maria at a roundtable Saturday.

But the weekend is packed with free time for the members and their families on the trip.

“We are excited for you to join us for CHC BOLD PAC’s 2019 Winter Retreat in San Juan, Puerto Rico! Each year, this retreat serves as a way for our CHC BOLD PAC Members and friends in the D.C. community to come together to escape the cold and discuss our shared priorities for a stronger and more prosperous country,” said a memo on the trip.

Some 109 lobbyists and corporate executives are named in the memo, a rate of 3.6 lobbyists for every member. They include those from several big K Street firms, R.J. Reynolds, Facebook, Comcast, Amazon, PhRMA, Microsoft, Intel, Verizon, and unions such as the National Education Association. [Source: Washington Examiner]

New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez was spotted on the beach, talking to a bikini-clad woman and looking very unconcerned about the government shutdown:

President Trump ridiculed the move by Democrats on Monday for their vacation amidst the shutdown, posing the question that they might be actually in celebration mode. “I’ve been here all weekend,” Trump said. “A lot of the Democrats were in Puerto Rico celebrating something. I don’t know, maybe they’re celebrating the shutdown.”

You know that the Democrats are actually happy over this whole debacle, as it’s more fodder to use against President Trump. As he still tirelessly works to strike a deal so our government can be opened again, one side is totally AWOL!

The Associated Press pointed out last week that it “takes two to tango,” destroying Democrats’ claims that the government shutdown is completely Trump’s fault.

After considering Democrats’ ongoing arguments against President Trump, the AP concluded that the budget impasse was partly due to the Democrats’ refusal to approve the money. “Trump’s demand for $5.7 billion for his border wall is one reason for the budget impasse. The Democrats refusal to approve the money is another,” the AP boldly pointed out, placing blame on both sides.

The anti-Trump rhetoric is laughable at this point, with Pelosi even being as brazen as accusing the President of “manufacturing the crisis” at the border and making Americans unnecessarily suffer so he can get his way. But when you have hoards of Democrats running to the warm beaches of Puerto Rico as Trump stays in his office working away, it speaks volumes to who has the best interests of our country at heart.
