Well, not only were they caught partying on the beach while accusing President Donald Trump of doing nothing to stop the shutdown, they appeared to be having a blast while we have a border crisis. That’s when Sarah Sanders made those Democratic rats regret they ever left. Don’t miss this.
Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have been like a broken record blaming the president for the government shutdown. Yet, to stop the shutdown, the Democrats know they should be in Washington, D.C. holding meetings to come to some sort of compromise.
So, when many of the leftist politicians decided they would charter a private jet and sneak away to Puerto Rico, the optics couldn’t get any worse. “Despite a partial government shutdown with no end in sight, about 30 Democratic members of Congress traveled to Puerto Rico this weekend — with their families and lobbyists — for a winter retreat where they also planned to see a special performance of the hit Broadway show Hamilton,” Fox News reported.
The junket is taking place at a seaside resort where rooms run around $429 a night. The participants paid for the “Hamilton” tickets with their own funds, the Washington Examiner reported.
Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda began a two-week run of his hit play Friday in Puerto Rico to raise money for artists and cultural groups still struggling in wake of Hurricane Maria. Tickets for opening night ranged from $10 to $5,000, according to the Associated Press.
Trump-hater Senator Bob Menedez was caught on the beach in Puerto Rico soaking up the sun with a bikini-clad blonde. Menendez claims there is no border crisis. “While Trump manufactures a border crisis, he ignores a real crisis which is gun violence,” said the scandal-ridden New Jersey Senator.
Menendez has been embroiled in prostitution scandals and corruption charges in the past. Now, he was caught on the beach sunning himself while he complains Americans are suffering — that is pretty rich.

The Democrats argue they are only in Puerto Rico to attend this Congressional Hispanic Caucus BOLD PAC gathering in San Juan. But, no one believes that. This trip smells of an expense-paid junket. That’s why Sarah Sanders made sure they regretted it.
“Democrats in Congress are so alarmed about federal workers not getting paid they’re partying on the beach instead of negotiating a compromise to reopen the government and secure the border,” tweeted Sanders to her 3.6 million followers.

GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel backed up Sarah by blasting the partying Democrats on social media, too. “While @realDonaldTrump is in DC working to resolve the government shutdown and secure our border, Democrats are hitting the beach and partying with lobbyists,” tweeted the Republican chairwoman.

BOLD PAC, the political arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, chartered a 737 for members, their families, and chiefs of staff to attend the weekend. The memo said the weather will be a balmy 80 degrees. The dress code is “resort casual.”
And the weekend was packed with free time for the members and their families on the trip. These Democratic rats won’t be back in Washington, D.C., until late Monday afternoon.
“We are excited for you to join us for CHC BOLD PAC’s 2019 Winter Retreat in San Juan, Puerto Rico! Each year, this retreat serves as a way for our CHC BOLD PAC Members and friends in the D.C. community to come together to escape the cold and discuss our shared priorities for a stronger and more prosperous country,” said a memo on the trip.
“Some 109 lobbyists and corporate executives are named in the memo, a rate of 3.6 lobbyists for every member. They include those from several big K Street firms, R.J. Reynolds, Facebook, Comcast, Amazon, PhRMA, Microsoft, Intel, Verizon, and unions like the National Education Association,” the Washington Examiner reported.
Can you imagine if President Trump and the Republicans would have pulled a stunt like this? All hell would be breaking loose in the mainstream media. Yet Nancy, Chucky, and the Democrats get a free pass.
The Democrats could care less about the shutdown, or about the Americans they claim are suffering by not getting their paychecks. Instead of working toward a compromise with Trump, they are off mingling with Broadway stars and sunning themselves on the beaches of Puerto Rico. Time’s up for these leftist losers. Americans see they are just a bunch of hypocrites who care more about partying on the beach instead of securing our Southern border.
