Democrats Panic As Trump Releases Video, Shows Their True Feelings On ‘Illegals’

With the Democrats refusing to fund President Donald Trump’s border wall, a government shutdown seems imminent. But just when the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer were refusing to come down off their high horse, Trump played his hand, releasing some old, forgotten video clips showing the Democrats’ true feelings on “illegals.”

President Donald Trump has been going at it with the Democrats all week long, trying to reach a compromise which would allow for the government to stay open and also provide for $5 million in funding for the border wall. Both parties are unwilling to budge, with Trump adamant that he will shut down the government and find a way to build the wall either way, and the Democrats refusing to fork over more money for border security.

In a bipartisan effort to smooth things over, Trump met with Democratic leaders during an Oval Office discussion on Tuesday surrounding whether or not to shut down the government over border wall funding.

Demanding that Democrats accept his call for $5 billion in funding for a wall along the border with Mexico, President Donald Trump sparred with top Democrats in Congress in an extraordinary scene played out before television cameras in the Oval Office on Tuesday, as the President said he would be happy to see a partial government funding lapse later this month unless gets his way on money for to build a wall along the border with Mexico. “I am proud to shut down the government for border security, Chuck,” Trump said in what quickly escalated into a bitter back and forth between the president, Sen. Chuck Schumer, and Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

“If we don’t have border security, we’ll shut down the government,” Trump said. “I’m going to shut it down for border security,” the president said.

Coincidentally, however, top Democrats like Schumer, Hillary Clinton, and former President Barack Obama once felt much differently about immigration issues. In fact, they once held opinions more closely aligned with President Trump’s than with the political talking points they’ve been spouting as of late.

To prove it, Trump released several old clips of these hypocrites sharing their past views on immigration. “The Democrats are absolute hypocrites. All along, they’ve been supporting walls,” Trump says in the video, speaking from the White House Rose Garden.

Then, the footage cuts to Democrats supporting border security measures. “Illegal immigration is wrong. Plain and simple,” says Chuck Schumer.

Hillary Clinton is then shown bragging about voting in favor of funding “a barrier to try and prevent illegal immigrants from coming in.”

Barack Obama’s segment shows the then-Senator saying, “We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked.”

President Trump used old clips of Democrat leaders sharing their past — and somewhat surprising — ideas about immigration in a recent video released in favor of border security.

Trump continued his narrative after the clips of Schumer, Clinton, and Obama, saying, “They only don’t want to [build the wall] because of me.” He promised viewers, “Whatever it takes to get border security I will do it.”

The president is right — if a Democratic leader was asking for funding to secure the border, the political left would gladly hand it over without asking another question. They’re all a bunch of hypocrites. The video doesn’t lie.
