Celebrities and professional athletes are continuing to mix politics with entertainment. “Protests” by entitled athletes, sparked by San Francisco 49ers quarterback and millionaire Colin Kaepernick who was worried about income inequality and the oppression of black Americans, have now to come to a head as New England Patriots safety Devin McCourty becomes the latest to disrespect President Donald Trump.
Super Bowl champions are now refusing to visit Donald Trump in the White House because of their entitlement issues and as a boycott against the American voter. Safety Devin McCourty is joining his teammate, tight end Martellus Bennett, in boycotting the trip to the meet-and-greet with President Donald Trump.
It’s becoming fairly obvious that the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots’ owner, head coach, and quarterback are big fans of Donald Trump’s. Tom Brady even owns a “Make America Great Again” hat he proudly displays in his locker.
But apparently, even rich and popular millionaires can’t seem to simply honor tradition and put their differences aside in the name of “tolerance” that liberals claim to love so much.
New England Patriots Devin McCourty & Martellus Bennett say they won’t go to White House to celebrate Super Bowl victory with Donald Trump

“I’m not going to the White House,” McCourty wrote in a text message to TIME from the team bus. “Basic reason for me is I don’t feel accepted in the White House. With the president having so many strong opinions and prejudices I believe certain people might feel accepted there while others won’t.”
McCourty said he believed attending the event is an individual and personal choice. “I can’t imagine a way I go there,” he said.
Of course, the left is celebrating their decision to not appear at the White House. They are actually praising the division and intolerance displayed and being expanded by these two men who want “social justice” while not understanding that they already have it.

So far, there has been very little backlash, if any, for these two who are creating division among a championship team, and Bennett has already stated that he doesn’t care if there’s backlash and isn’t afraid if it should come his way. It will be interesting to see if more “tolerant” liberal athletes will join this “boycott” and publicly announce that they won’t be going to the White House.
This is just another rich guy pretending he’s better than the rest of us. Nevermind that the fans pay his salaries or that capitalism allowed him to become the rich Super Bowl champion he is today. McCourty believes that the event at the White House should be a personal and individual choice. That’s beyond just a little bit hypocritical.
He wants rights as an individual while supporting the leftist collective social justice equality. Hypocrisy knows no bounds when one is a “tolerant” liberal.
