Jussie Smollett’s “Empire” co-star Taraji P. Henson expressed relief that District Attorney Kim Foxx decided to drop all charges against her good friend. “I’m happy that the truth has finally been set free because I knew it all along,” Henson said. “We’re all happy for him, and thank God the truth prevailed.” Well, that didn’t go over too well with angry Americans, and instantly Henson got destroyed. Don’t miss this.

Americans are reeling after Chicago’s DA Kim Foxx shockingly dropped all charges against Jussie Smollett, the hoax-hate crime charlatan who had the audacity to claim he has been “telling the truth the entire time.”

Anyone who has just a passing knowledge of the case knows the Chicago Police Department had an airtight case with video evidence of Smollett’s personal trainers, the Nigerian brothers, buying the exact type of ski masks, rope, and bleach the “Empire” star described to detectives. And that’s just one piece of evidence.

Even a grand jury found overwhelming evidence to indict the hoaxer on 16 felony charges. Yet, in what can only be described as a dirty deal with political motivation, DA Foxx perpetrated another type of crime on Chicago when she singlehandedly let him go, sealing the case and expunging his record. It’s like it never happened.

So, it’s a tad bit disconcerting when Smollett’s co-star claims the truth has prevailed. “I’m happy that the truth has finally been set free because I knew it all along,” Henson said of prosecutors’ decision in an interview with USA Today. “We’re all happy for him, and thank God the truth prevailed.”

Henson, who plays Cookie Lyon, the mother to Smollett’s character Jamal Lyon, told the newspaper that she never doubted her co-star’s story due to his “immaculate track record.”

“The Empire star still says he was assaulted by two men late at night in downtown Chicago on January 29th,” Breitbart reports. “The actor told police he was assaulted by two masked individuals, who hurled racist and homophobic insults at him. He said his attackers doused him with an unknown chemical substance, place a thin rope around his neck, and shouted ‘This is MAGA country!’ before fleeing.  Police said Smollett paid $3,500 to the two men, both of whom are black.”

The men were brothers Abimbola “Abel” and Olabinjo “Ola” Osundairo, and one of them had worked on Empire. An attorney for them, Gloria Schmidt, has said the brothers agreed to help Smollett because of their friendship with him and the sense that he was helping their careers. They declined to comment.

Well,  angry Americans were sure commenting on Jussie’s co-star’s “the truth set him free” statement. “What truth? Even the prosecutor says he is guilty but everything is sealed. If he’s truly innocent why are the brothers not being charged with a hate crime?” posted Tim Cody.

That’s right. In an even bigger screw-up, Smollett’s attorney admitted it was the Nigerian brothers who “attacked” the hoaxer at yesterday’s press conference. Well, obviously there was no attack. Regardless, it was just another screw-up in this already monumental miscarriage of justice.

Paul Ronald Lusk posted a meme with a picture of O.J. Simpson who is saying, “Welcome to the club Jussie.” Indeed, Jussie vows to fight for hoaxers who get away with crime everywhere. That’s what he claimed at his press conference, that he would fight for those like him.

“Ugly people. That they may live their lives as kings and queens with everything they wish and imagine themselves. The day that they will pass on, is the day of truth and justice they will not escape from. They think they are great, but God is greater than you. Amen,” tweeted Pacito Hierro.

It was learned early on in the case DA Foxx was contacted by Michelle Obama’s former chief of staff Tina Tchen who was lobbying the district attorney to turn the case over to the FBI. We now know Smollett also was aided by Jesse Jackson, who sponsored the hoaxer over the weekend to perform “volunteer service” at his Chicago-based “Rainbow Coalition.”

We may never know the entire truth of the back door deal DA Foxx took to give Smollett his freedom, but it’s tainted by the Obamas and Jesse Jackson, so it’s a no brainer to say she got some kind of political chit to cash in at a later date. As for Taraji P. Henson, she’s just blinded by her Black Lives Matter mentality. We bet her ridiculous remarks will come back to bite her in the near future.
