[VIDEO] Deathly Sick Former Beauty Queen Silences Trump In Rare Moment

A deathly sick former beauty queen was on hand at a Donald Trump rally in Janesville, Wisconsin, seeking to speak to the GOP front-runner. The rally was held in the hometown of the terminally ill mother, and she silenced Trump in a rare moment. Caught on video, people are reacting to seeing the billionaire GOP candidate speechless, silencing him and a room full of his supporters at the same time.

Donald Trump speaks with former Miss Wisconsin Melissa Consin Young at rally in Janesville, Wisonsin.

Melissa Consin Young, former Miss Wisconsin 2005, struggled to speak after a volunteer alerted Donald that “Melissa wants to say something to you.” Young is suffering from an incurable autoimmune disease, and she is dying.

The mother of one says one of her last wishes was to thank the GOP front-runner for what he did for her after her autoimmune disease became life threatening .

“You’ve saved me in so many ways. In recent years I’ve been struggling with an incurable illness and I’m on home care now and it was caused by a doctor’s medical negligence. In those dark days fighting — right now all the tubes have been removed and I have a ‘do not resuscitate’ order and I have a seven year old son — those days in the hospital, I received from you a handwritten letter that says ‘to the bravest woman I know’,” Melissa told him through tears.

“I’m here now to thank you in person and that was my biggest dream. I wanted to thank you because through you and your organizations, my son, a Mexican-American, through your organizations and just being able to stand on that stage with you in 2005, and the outpouring of love, ultimately provided my son with a full-ride to college,” Melissa said, according to Daily Mail.

Trump was speechless, as he tried to put on a tough front. People only see the GOP candidate Trump, not the man who feels sympathy for a sick woman. Young’s help came from a fund Trump set up called FundAnything.com, and her Facebook post explains her long struggle.

The former beauty queen became ill during her pregnancy, and she begged her doctor to pay attention to her symptoms. He didn’t listen, and three weeks before her due date, she quickly grew worse and almost died. Later came the diagnosis with the rare autoimmune disease, which leaves her organs damaged, and her heart is the heart of a 88-year-old.

No matter where your political sympathies lie, this story is an uplifting, bittersweet story. It’s nice to see this young mother who is hanging on to hope for her son, knowing when she is gone he will be well cared for. We hope she will defy the odds, lives a long life, and sees her son firsthand become a man.
