BREAKING: Germany Cancels Soccer Game After Chilling Items Found In Ambulance

On the heels of a horrific terrorist attack in France, a friendly soccer match in Germany was canceled today after authorities reportedly found utterly chilling items inside of an ambulance near the massive stadium.

Following a direct threat to the stadium in Hannover, authorities reportedly found an ambulance loaded with explosives along the street, which forced police to evacuate the immediate area, according to Q13FOX. About an hour and a half before game time, police said “there was a device intended to be detonated inside the stadium,” then subsequently canceled the match, where German Chancellor Angela Merkel was set to attend to send a message that the country wouldn’t cower to radical Islamists.

Along with the soccer stadium, the TUI-Arena, which was set to hold a pop concert later, was also evacuated as a precautionary measure.

In the wake of the tragic attack in Paris, German police stepped up security for the game and were seen armed with machine guns around the stadium to maintain a strong presence in the area. So far, there hasn’t been any reports of explosions or injuries, but we’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.

With the Islamic State (ISIS) promising to carry out more attacks across Europe, countries are wise to take every threat absolutely seriously, especially after allowing so many so-called “refugees” into their nations. Hopefully, this doesn’t become a weekly occurrence, although with ISIS stepping up their game, it unfortunately wouldn’t be surprising if it was.
