It appears that gun Nazi David Hogg is at the end of his rope. Over the weekend, Hogg admitted defeat, telling the world that he has officially lost the gun control fight. It came just three months after the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, which inspired calls from Hogg and his cronies for tougher gun control measures.
David Hogg survived the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14 and has gone on to make a name for himself by pushing gun control. However, it looks like the teenage tyrant is finally on minute 14:49 of his fifteen minutes.
Several events have transpired in the three months since 19-year-old gunman Nikolas Cruz stormed his former high school, opening fire on the unsuspecting students and staff inside and ultimately killing seventeen of them. For starters, David Hogg emerged as one of the most vocal activists in the fight for tougher gun control measures. This, despite the fact that the existing gun control measures failed him and his classmates at MSD on the fateful day that Cruz shot up the school.
Still, the tragic mass shooting at MSD resulted in efforts to restrict firearms ownership. However, shortly thereafter, the Second Amendment Foundation experienced a 1,200 percent increase in the number of 18- to 20-year-olds joining or supporting the organization.
The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) has witnessed a 1,200% surge in 18-year-old to 20-year-old members in the weeks since the firearm-based attack on Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
The surge for that age group is unprecedented for SAF and is the result of grassroots interest in gun rights.

“We normally don’t get that many members or donors in that age group,” said Gottlieb, “since the gun rights movement typically trends toward older Americans. But the 18- to 20-year-olds have never been specifically targeted before, and they are obviously alarmed.”
“This influx of young Americans into the gun rights movement is important, not just to respond to the current gun control threat, but as the movement has gotten older, it is encouraging to see so many young adults getting involved in support of Second Amendment rights,” he added.
That’s not all, though. Subsequently, gun sales soared during the month of March. During the first week of April, The Washington Free Beacon ran the headline “Gun Sales Soar, Set Record in March Amid Push for New Gun-Control Measures”:
Last month saw the most gun-related background checks run by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of any March on record, documents released by the agency on Tuesday show.
With 2,767,699 checks conducted by the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) in March 2018, the month beats the previous record of 2,523,265 set in March 2016 by 244,434 checks. That represents a 9.68 percent increase.
The March results put 2018 on pace to see more gun-related background checks than 2017, the second-best year on record, but still behind 2016, the best year on record.
The number of checks run through NICS in a month is considered one of the strongest indicators for how well gun sales are doing because each sale made by a federally licensed dealer, such as a gun store, is subject to a check.
Indeed, as we typically see after this type of militant push for gun control following a mass shooting, Hogg’s efforts have backfired significantly. So much so, in fact, that he has been forced to officially admit defeat. Hogg took to Twitter over the weekend to inform his followers that he had lost the gun control fight; he inadvertently stated that his movement has only inspired more people to go out and purchase a firearm.
“For all the people that have bought guns because they falsely believe we want to take them please please please be save [sic] and responsible,” Hogg desperately tweeted. “1. Store your gun in a safe place where your child can’t get it. 2. Consider getting a trigger lock for your weapon. 3. Practice Safety.”

It’s about damn time for this kid to pack it up and go home. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about, he lacks the wisdom that comes with age and life experience, and he’s doing more damage to his cause than good. It would seem that there is actually nothing better for the firearms industry than calls from the left to ban guns. Even David Hogg is admitting as much now.
