The blows to Hillary Clinton just keep coming, thanks to Wikileaks. Among today’s batch of newly dumped emails is one that is spreading like wildfire and angering countless citizens across the country. The content is truly disgusting and incredibly disrespectful toward Catholic and Christian voters. Although there are many, this is definitely one at the top of the list of those that Hillary will wish had never seen the light of day.
We already know that Hillary Clinton has a lot of contempt for average Americans, especially the “deplorable” Donald Trump supporters. However, did you know that her team also has an enormous amount of derision for Catholics specifically but also for Christians in general? In this disgusting new email that was leaked just hours ago, Hillary’s team makes it very clear how they feel about Americans of faith.
Wikileaks posted an alert that part 3 of the Podesta email dump was released just this morning.

The 2011 email, [titled] “Conservative Catholicism,” comes from John Halpin, a senior fellow at the left-wing Center for American Progress (CAP), and is addressed to Jennifer Palmieri, formerly of the CAP and current Director of Communications for the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, and John Podesta [Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Chairman]. The email, in which Catholic beliefs are referred to as “backwards,” drips with contempt for Catholic Americans and Conservative Catholics specifically.
The disgusting exchange begins with an email from Halpin to Palmieri and Podesta. Apparently, an article in the New Yorker, discussing two prominent men’s shared Catholic faith, prompted this ugly and inappropriate barrage of gossip-like insults.
“Ken Auletta’s latest piece on Murdoch in the New Yorker starts off with the aside that both Murdoch and Robert Thompson, managing editor of the WSJ, are raising their kids Catholic. Friggin’ Murdoch baptized his kids in Jordan where John the Baptist baptized Jesus.”
“Many of the most powerful elements of the conservative movement are all Catholic (many converts) from the SC and think tanks to the media and social groups. It’s an amazing bastardization of the faith. They must be attracted to the systematic thought and severely backwards gender relations and must be totally unaware of Christian democracy.”
Jennifer Palmieri then threw in her two cents, saying, “I imagine they think it is the most socially acceptable politically conservative religion. Their rich friends wouldn’t understand if they became evangelicals.” Apparently, Ms. Palmieri believes that Americans who are Evangelical Christians are at the bottom of the barrel and an embarrassment for Catholics and the wealthy to associate with.
The final insult reads, “Excellent point. They can throw around ‘Thomistic’ thought and ‘subsidiarity’ and sound sophisticated because no one knows what the hell they’re talking about.”
There isn’t much, if anything, that can be said by the Hillary camp to excuse what was said in this email. It was hurtful, divisive, and extremely inappropriate. Granted, the contributors likely believed that what they said would never be exposed, but now it has been, and now we all know the caliber of some of the people on Hillary Clinton’s handpicked team.
It’s clear that Hillary likes to surround herself with those who are cut from the same cloth as she is — judgmental, disrespectful, petty, and two-faced. At least we know she’s consistent. Rest assured, if she’s elected, she’ll take these jerks with her to our White House.
