With his boycott of companies advertising on Laura Ingraham’s Fox News program in shambles, David Hogg set his sites on a new target. The teenage tyrant took aim at two new businesses for his latest “boycott,” but he was quickly destroyed by his pro-gun classmate Kyle Kashuv. Now, Parkland’s most notorious gun Nazi is furious.
In the aftermath of the Valentine’s Day massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, several student survivors of the shooting have become public advocates for stricter gun laws. Undoubtedly, the most notorious of these activists is David Hogg, who reportedly hid with his peers as 19-year-old gunman Nikolas Cruz roamed the high school and fatally shot 17 people.
Hogg has been hard at work cementing his reputation as the leading teen activist in the fight for gun control ever since his classmates lost their lives. As the Democrats say, never let a good crisis go to waste. Most recently, the 18-year-old launched a boycott of Fox News firebrand Laura Ingraham after she claimed in a tweet that the Florida teen, who was applying to colleges, was “whining” about several rejection letters he had received.
David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.) https://t.co/wflA4hWHXY

Hogg had intended to destroy Ingraham’s career the same way leftist forces conspired to dethrone her former Fox News colleague Bill O’Reilly. However, unlike what we witnessed in O’Reilly’s case, Hogg and his cronies were unsuccessful at taking Ingraham down. In fact, Hogg’s boycott had quite the opposite of its intended effect.
After a week-long vacation, Ingraham returned to work and quickly received some incredible news: She was still dominating in the ratings despite Hogg’s misguided boycott.
Laura Ingraham has maintained her ratings in her first week back since the ad boycott campaign launched against her show. The Ingraham Angle was the leading cable news show in its time slot, averaging 2.69 million viewers throughout the week. Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell came at a close second, averaging 2.6 million viewers. CNN Tonight came third with an average of 1. 29 million viewers. [Source: Mediaite]
Then, in the wake of her stellar ratings, one of her major sponsors decided to reverse their decision to pull ads from “The Ingraham Angle.”
Ace Hardware has reversed its decision to stop advertising on Laura Ingraham’s show, exactly one week after it announced it would part ways with the Fox News host. In an email to TheWrap, a spokeswoman for the company apologized for having “incomplete information” when it announced it would cease advertising on “The Ingraham Angle.” [Source: The Wrap]
Meanwhile, Mike Lindell, the CEO and founder of MyPillow, took to Twitter on to announce that he had no intention of pulling his ads from Ingraham’s show after Hogg’s call to boycott. While Lindell’s tweet sent liberals into a fit of rage, conservative social media users came out in droves to show their support for MyPillow. Lindell would earn himself untold amounts of new business thanks to his decision to stand by Ingraham. Needless to say, this was NOT the reaction Hogg was hoping for.

Now that we have the benefit of hindsight, it’s safe to say that Hogg’s boycott was a massive failure. The end result was this: Ingraham got to take a well-deserved vacation, she is still enjoying as much success as ever, and the right-leaning companies which refused to boycott her show gained customers. It reads like a liberal’s nightmare.
With his boycott of Laura Ingraham having crashed and burned in embarrassing fashion, David Hogg set his sights on a new target, seemingly deciding to try his hand at the boycott thing again. Unfortunately for Hogg, though, this second boycott ended even faster than the first, thanks to one of his classmates at Marjory Stoneman Douglas.
Hogg isn’t the only shooting survivor with an opinion, but he may be the only one the liberal media cares to recognize. Kyle Kashuv also emerged as a strong voice in the gun control debate, but he is pro-Second Amendment, so he doesn’t get the kind of attention Hogg is offered from mainstream sources.
On Tuesday, Hogg tweeted, “@blackrock and @Vanguard_Group are two of the biggest investors in gun manufacturers; if you use them, feel free to let them know. Thanks.” He added the hashtags “#BoycottVanguard” and “#BoycottBlackrock.”

There’s just one little problem with this, though. As Kashuv pointed out, “@davidhogg111, @blackrock owns part of twitter. Time to fully boycott Blackrock and log off Twitter. Bye.”

Don’t you just hate it when you accidentally try to boycott the company that provides yours means of disseminating propaganda? This whole boycott thing really isn’t working out for David Hogg. Even with the help of Media Matters and George Soros, he can’t seem to pull off anything successful. It’s pathetic, really.
