Jeff Daniels: If Trump Wins in 2020 ‘It’s the End of Democracy’ — He Gets Torched

Jeff Daniels, the actor who co-starred with Jim Carrey in the iconic movie Dumb & Dumber, is joining his co-star in his Trump Derangement Syndrome. Appearing on MSNBC Monday, Daniels stated that if President Donald Trump wins in 2020, “it’s the end of Democracy.” He went as far as to say those living in “middle America” better wake-up. Well, immediately Daniels got torched. You’ll love this.

Jeff Daniels is another Hollywood blowhard who has zero business lecturing Americans about politics. However, that is exactly what he did on MSNBC with Nicolle Wallace, the “Never-Trumper” who abandoned the GOP and is now one of the biggest liars about Trump over on MSNBC.

What makes Daniels appearance so offensive is that he is using the American classic, To Kill a Mocking Bird, as his club to beat every American who supports Trump. The Dumb & Dumber star is up for a Tony Award for his recent performance as Atticus Finch, the legendary lawyer in To Kill a Mocking Bird who struggles with racism in the 1930’s South.

For those who need a refresher, Finch defends an innocent black man from charges of rape leveled by a young white woman. Daniels explained that in both Harper Lee’s book and the play, Atticus Finch believes that the people “on the other side” don’t all have “bad intentions,” but that that notion is “being challenged now.”

Calling Atticus an “apologist” and an “enabler,” the Michigan native said, “I think there are people in the Midwest, between the coasts, who don’t care about this, don’t have time for this, who have to make a decision now. You have to decide whether, like Atticus, you believe that there is still compassion, decency, civility, respect for others. Do unto others, remember that?”

“If the Democrats end up losing the election to Trump in November 2020, it’s the end of democracy,” he said.

How dare Jeff Daniels lecture Americans as if he is really Atticus Finch. It’s not only offensive, but it’s also ridiculous to assume he is this stellar civil rights figure who is standing in judgment on Trump supporters as disgusting racists. Daniels proves the only role he has any business morphing into off-screen is the Dumb & Dumber character.

Then, referring to a scene in the book where a lynch mob gathers outside the innocent black man’s jail cell threatening to hang him, Daniels sees that as what Trump rallies are, a lynch mob. “That’s what I see at Trump’s rallies, the lies spewing at these people, and people going, ‘I’ve got to believe in something. He said he’d bring my manufacturing job back, he didn’t, and I’m all in,” Daniels said.

Americans were outraged that a guy who starred in Dumb & Dumber was telling them what to do.

“What planet do these actors live on? Trump is upholding the Republic and the constitution. The DEMS want to do away with both. They have it exactly BACKWARD,” tweeted Linore Rose Burkhead.

“I think celebrities should basically shut their pie hole and do what they do best: act, sing, tap-dance, juggle balls, and do all that kind of stuff,” posted Twitter user “Embrace the Hate” which is a quote from KISS’ Gene Simmons.

“Oh, Jeffy. I had such high hopes for u. If this is truly how he feels, it legitimately begs the question: Who is Dumb and who is Dumber? They legit r great actors & play complete morons in a movie, but looks like they’re carrying their roles over into real life,” tweeted “Titan Crew.”

Jeff Daniels’ Trump Derangement Syndrome is manifest by his total confusion. Daniels actually sees himself as Atticus Finch, and he is claiming Americans who voted for President Trump are just a big lynch mob trying to hang all people of color. This guy has lost it and should get a mental evaluation.

Well, thanks to arrogant idiots in Hollywood, Americans are getting confirmation that we have upended the proverbial apple cart by electing Trump. We have broken the hardcore leftists who mistook all their money and celebrity status as power, the power to elect the leader of the free world.

It is those in middle America, in flyover country, who scare these Hollywood hypocrites the most. They see, just like Jeff Daniels, that it is our millions of votes they can not buy, they can not coerce, and they know we will re-elect the man who is making America great again, to four more years.
