Jim Carrey Attacked By His Own Fans After He Unveils ‘Racist’ Painting

Former actor and comedian Jim Carrey has been making news with his bizarre and garish paintings — most notably, his paintings insulting President Donald Trump and his supporters. However, a recent painting meant to celebrate someone has social justice warriors upset. Now, the celebrity is facing backlash.

Whatever happened to Jim Carrey? The man was once the highest paid actor in Hollywood. His comedic antics were box office gold. But somewhere along the line, everything started to fall apart.

His once successful movies were hit or miss. Sure, a few good ones came out from time to time. But most of his stuff was unwatchable. Maybe that convinced him to shy away from the limelight.

Perhaps the massive fame and money went to his head. Jim Carrey couldn’t stand the constant attention. Or maybe he was hurt when well-wishers and friends turned out to be phonies who only loved him for his money.

Regardless of what the case might be, Carrey has turned into a sheltered recluse. He rarely does anything of note in entertainment anymore. And when he’s not harassing young actresses, he takes to Twitter to post hateful and downright badly painted portraits of political figures.

I’m no psychiatrist, so I can’t comment on the obvious mania depicted in this “art.” But I am a graphic designer and cartoonist. So, I will say that a 6-year-old can produce better stuff than this.

As you can imagine, Jim Carrey has received props from the left over his bogus artwork. The rantings of a lunatic on canvas have attracted the support and adoration of left-wing idiots. It seems that Jim is building an audience around himself who hate conservatives. He’s becoming the Andy Warhol of the social justice mob — until recently.

To honor the late Aretha Franklin, Carrey quickly whipped up a portrait of the singer. Except, people aren’t too happy about it.

Maybe he just ran out of crayons.

Actor Jim Carrey is catching heat for his latest cartoon, this one a tribute to singer Aretha Franklin, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 76.

Carrey left acting behind and now spends most of his time drawing political sketches — mostly aimed at President Trump and his administration and all in an infantile style usually seen on refrigerators.

“Look how beautiful a life can be. Thank you, Aretha!” Carrey wrote on Twitter on Thursday. [Source: Daily Wire]

It’s a slightly better piece of art than most of what he’s produced. I’d put it around the skill level of a junior high school art student. But people online were shocked at one thing: the lightness of Aretha’s skin tone.

His Twitter followers seemed to devolve into arguing among themselves. Some defended the “artist,” quick to protect a liberal celebrity (where have we seen that before?). Others were simply confused as to why he would depict a famous black singer with such pale skin.

Others had more interesting theories:

Suffice it to say, this isn’t the last ugly painting that Jim Carrey is likely to make. Considering his bizarre choices, it won’t be long before he upsets the wrong social justice warrior.
