Barack Obama’s former White House press secretary Josh Earnest has secured a new job after serving as a paid mouthpiece for President Donald Trump’s radically progressive predecessor. His new gig will give him ample opportunity to assist Obama in his sinister quest to take down the sitting president by undermining his administration, and it should be enough to infuriate any red-blooded American.
On Monday morning, Earnest was named a political analyst for both NBC News and MSNBC, two of Trump’s harshest critics. An internal memo from NBC New President Noah Oppenheim and MSNBC President Phil Griffin announced the hire:
“Josh recently completed a ten-year run with President Obama, most recently serving as White House Press Secretary from 2014-2017. A native of Kansas City, Josh graduated from Rice University with a degree in political science and policy studies. With his wealth of experience and insight, Josh will be a great addition to our roster of contributors and will be an asset for our two networks as we continue to cover the White House, Congress, and politics beyond the Beltway.”
Earnest also appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” to announce his new job. The 42-year-old will be working out of NBC’s Washington Bureau.
Earnest follows in a long line of former press secretaries going from the White House to network and cable news outlets.

It looks like Earnest wasn’t finished being Obama’s mouthpiece when he lost his job as White House press secretary in January. It also appears that NBC News and MSNBC have no intention of featuring viewpoints which stray from the Democratic Party line.
Anyone who thinks Earnest will not use this new platform to continue pushing Obama’s agenda is sorely mistaken. In fact, this will provide Obama with the perfect opportunity to continue maneuvering within D.C. circles, running his shadow government along with Valerie Jarrett from the comfort of his new mansion in Washington.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump will go on making America great again, even in the midst of constant attacks from Barack Obama, Josh Earnest, and their ilk. It’s got to be intensely irritating for Obama to watch his successor systematically dismantle his legacy piece by piece. Unfortunately, Earnest apparently still has his back.
