Joy Behar and the shrews of “The View” started their 22nd season today. Behar made sure she got as much limelight as possible by stopping be ABC’s “Good Morning America” this morning, and she made it clear: She loved Meghan McCain bashing President Donald Trump at her father’s funeral. Well, poor Joy Behar immediately regretted praising Meghan. You’ll love this.
Joy Behar is back as “The View” begins another season, and Behar made it clear she is looking forward to doing as much Trump-trashing as possible. Behar was on “Good Morning America,” speaking with ABC’s Robin Roberts when Roberts asked Joy about Meghan McCain and her eulogy at her father’s funeral.
Big mouth Behar responded, “Yeah, I was there, Sunny [Hostin] and I got to go. Well, it was quite moving. She was fantastic, that girl nailed it.” Well, many Americans don’t agree. In fact, the New York Post hit Meghan McCain with a brutal article, calling her “The Meg” after a very large prehistoric shark.
Breitbart reported, “The New York Post mocked Meghan McCain as ‘The Meg’ on its Sunday cover after she used the opportunity of her father’s funeral to attack President Trump. ‘The Meg’ is a reference to a plus-sized shark in the late-summer hit movie The Meg, starring Jason Statham.”
Breitbart adds, “The New York Post cover is just one part of a brewing backlash against McCain and the overall funeral service for Sen. John McCain, which turned into an unseemly partisan rally Saturday with speakers like former Presidents Barack Obama and even George W. Bush trashing President Trump, who Sen. McCain refused to invite to his own funeral.”
Also not invited was former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, John McCain’s unfailingly loyal 2008 vice presidential running mate. What made Saturday’s shocking display all the more crass was that Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared were invited to the funeral and were forced to sit there and be humiliated, which might have been the plan. The McCains are infamous for holding grudges.
In an obvious shot at Trump, Meghan McCain used her eulogy to describe the death of her father as the passing of “American greatness. The real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly, nor the opportunistic appropriation of those who lived lives of comfort and privilege while he suffered and served.”
For good measure, she added, “The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because America was always great.”
The backlash hit Joy Behar after she gave major kudos to Meghan McCain as patriots weighed in about that and Behar’s whistle call about Trump. On “Good Morning America,” Joyless stated, “Well, we’ve [the shrews on ‘The View’] had to get so much more political, of course, we have to with Trump, with Trump in the White House.” That statement, combined with her praise of Meghan McCain politicizing her own father’s funeral, made Behar immediately regret opening her big mouth.
Pamela Sullivan posted her feelings on Joy and “The View,” tweeting, “Please cancel ‘The View’ it is full of hate!!”

That was followed up by several patriots like “Rob” who reminded everyone that ABC fired Roseanne Barr, yet still employs Whoopi Goldberg. He tweeted out a photo which says, “Roseanne Barr compares Valerie Jarrett to a primate, instantly fired and publicly shamed. Whoopi Goldberg calls Judge Jeanine Pirro Trump’s sand ni**er, keeps the job and is applauded by ABC.”

Many Americans reacted to Joy Behar’s return, like Cindy Thomas who wrote, “Behar is not funny. Not pertinent. Not fun. Off with her!” As Joy and the shrews return, they will no doubt continue their hate-fest against President Trump, and patriots aren’t going to tune in.
Meghan McCain will no doubt be back soon too, and now that she has been thoroughly rejected by Trump supporters, we bet she will move to the left and join in with big mouth Behar and the “never Trump” crowd, more and more. Well, there are consequences to making your father’s funeral a place where you trash the President of the United States, and the good citizens of this country won’t be watching “The View” at all.
